  Best historical hotel in center Regensburg with own parking and greatest breakfast

  4.5 stars from my side for this unique artful and historical central hotel with own parking for the renovated rooms - reminds me of the Versailles golden era. Staff is great, breakfast the best in Regensburg, the art is inspiring; fruits, small snack and tea available in the lobby if you come late. Since the takeover by Eurostars I see an improvement every time I am here, monthly usually. They also have a discount at the restaurant which is located inside their court. I also love to eat at the Good CI down the street - great coconut soup and sushi. I still look for renovation for the rest of the rooms - this would be an improvement I would appreciate. I always need to ask for the renovated rooms. Above is all my opinion and view, as an appreciator of history, art and gourmet.

  Lousy hotel

  Our room was like an oven. There is no air conditioner and we couldn’t open our window as there was a pub outside our window which was incredibly loud until about 3 in the morning. We had a horrible night. The hotel is not particularly clean. The staff not very friendly. And at €150, it’s not cheap!! I would never stay here again.

  Emailed multiple times to the front desk and they completely ignored me. I tried to cancel my hotel room 3 days before my trip via email and call but they never answered my calls or responded to my emails. They instead billed me my full rate and still to this day have never got back to me but kept my money.

  Lovely but no air conditioning

  This is a lovely old hotel. However there was no air conditioning in the room. A large fan was provided but not as good as having air conditioning. The room was clean including the bathroom . Breakfast was tasty from a good selection . However there were 2 coffee machines and one was marked as out of order for the 2 days we stayed. The other machine kept having problems and the waiter had to help guests on a number of occasions . The hotel is located a short walk from the main bus station and the train station . It was also not too far to walk to the Flixbus bus stop which we used to travel to Munich.

  I was in regansberg visiting my son who was living in regansberg and playing football for Germany.

  This hotel looks grand from the outside but accommodations are far from it. The hotel smells musty and moldy and the carpets are all stained. When I hit yo my room the safe was broken ,the lamp was not working and the Fan wa broken. No air conditioning though the reviews said otherwise. The reviews also said there were complimentary chocolates , water and slippers. I saw none of that. The housekeeper came yo clean at 4 pm I asked her to o wait a moment she then locked the door and I was in able u to o get out ! I tried the reception but no one answered and after banging on the doors the maid returned. After this incident I did not feel safe and I checked out of course not receiving a refund or an apology to try to make things right. I checked into the most beautiful suite at the Bishophof hotel for less money than the horrible accommodations they gave me at the Eurostar and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my trip although I was out over 300 dollars. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
