  とても危険なホテルです。十分に注意してください。滞在中、上部から約180cmの棒が突然落下し、命の危険を感じました。しかしホテル側は安全管理上の問題を一切認めず、「宿泊客の使い方が悪い」として、責任をすべてこちらに押し付けました。さらに、改善の必要はないという姿勢でした。これは明らかな重大な安全問題です。安全を重視される方には、絶対におすすめできません。This is a very dangerous hotel. Please be extremely careful.During our stay, a pole approximately 180 cm long suddenly fell from above, and we genuinely feared for our lives.However, the hotel refused to acknowledge any issues with their safety management. Instead, they claimed that it was entirely the guest’s fault due to “improper use” and placed all responsibility on us.They also stated that there was no need for any improvement.This is a serious safety concern.I cannot recommend this hotel at all to anyone who values safety.

  Disappointing Service Despite Great Location

  I recently stayed at this hotel, drawn by its excellent location in the heart of the city. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor service, particularly during breakfast.The breakfast staff were consistently rude and unhelpful. On multiple occasions, I encountered surly attitudes and a complete lack of basic courtesy. Requests for simple items like coffee or utensils were met with visible annoyance, making the morning meal an unpleasant start to the day.Despite the hotel’s prime location, which is indeed convenient for exploring the city, the subpar service, especially at breakfast, left a sour taste. I hope the management takes serious steps to address these issues, as the potential for a wonderful stay is otherwise present.Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to others looking for a welcoming and pleasant experience.

  A few maintenance issues

  This is a solid option if you don't want to stay inside the city walls as it it quite close and has parking. I discovered too late that one of the two windows did not have a  blackout curtain (only a net curtain). That meant it was very bright overnight. Also the bed lamp did not work on one of the two beds. Other than that a comfortable room with a spacious bathroom and full size bath. Heating was good and internet worked well. The breakfast had good variety but at 10 Euro was getting a little pricey, certainly compared to the cost of the room. Overall pretty good and I would stay there again.

  Clean but odd. Shower soap is on the outside of the shower door that was in poor repair. Pillows are flat. Room was very warm and desk said no fan available. No air conditioning but seems to be standard in this area. The weather was unusually hot. This hotel is ok for the. price.

  Older hotel in convenient location

  This hotel is located in easy walking distance to the old town of Rothenburg. For travelers that arrive by train it is extremely convenient, as it is right across the rail station. A supermarket is across the road, which is convenient for the traveler. Parking is available for free. Check-in is easy. The rooms can be noisy if they face the busy road in front. This is an older establishment, and the guest may face a few surprises: there is a minuscule washroom( toilet and shower; the washbasin had a crack and was in the bedroom.) The fob to open the door can be cantankerous: the door sticks, and you have to apply it twice, before you get the door to open. We realize that it is difficult to retrofit an older house, but scuffed walls do not leave a good impression, and a lick of paint would improve the appearance. Breakfast has a good variety of foods to send you into a great day of exploring. Due to the convenient location we can recommend this place to travelers.
