    Simple hotel in a good location

    The B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt is simply and functionally furnished. The (single) rooms are clean and in good condition. However, the bathroom is already very small. I can recommend the breakfast - the small surcharge is worth it. The location of the hotel is great. Very easy to reach by public transport. The stadium can also be easily reached on foot from VfB Stuttgart.Important: if arriving by car, the need for a parking space must be announced early (only a few, few places are available). However, there is a large, cheap public car park nearby.The room prices probably fluctuate quite a bit - depending on the occupancy rate in the district Bad Cannstatt. Room rate up to about EUR 120 is fine - above that it's quite sporty or in my opinion not quite right price/performance. Originally submitted in German on www.tripadvisor.ch. View originals.

    Disaster receptionist

    Beyond giving a code as a keycard for the room, just turn the whole check in procedure online and contactless, as your personel is at least incompetent and totally inapproptiate for a receptionist and front line job, destroying the experience of the guests before even they enter the room. Just checked in, we were standing in front of the older receptionist and she did not even care to look at us. The younger lady was more polite and invited us to check in. We asked to buy bottle of water and the older lady suddenly noticed our presence and started insisting for payment thrice, like we were thieves or anything. We asked for her name but both of them denied to provide it, like we are not able to point out the incident. Needless to add that I had also requested for the free member water upon reservation, but it was never offered to us.. I trully wonder how this lady got the job in the first place, total disaster for business.

    The rooms are small, but clean. The hotel has a good breakfast for an additional cost. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station and public transportation. It is a great hotel for the Stuttgart spring fest. There is parking available behind the hotel for an additional fee.

    Clean hotel , breakfast OK. There is a major issue though. If you are given the room in the front part of the hotel their AC is locked to 24C and it becomes boiling and stuffy. The reception members I am not sure know or act as if it can be changed but cannot so you will end up with a stuffy room. You can request and open the window but its too noisy (frankly its a scam they are running to save cost I think and mislead customers) . When I check other reviews of this hotel another member already faced similar problems. Only for this part I would not trust this hotel much! Yes I did discuss and best they could do is hand a key for the window to be opened. I just couldnt be bothered any more with them.
