    Not so bad ...

    For one night, it was actually quite acceptable. But why is there no closet or shelves to put your things? Instead, there is a monumental structure? Could that be a closet? No, it hides an ironing board with an iron. Not very meaningful. And the beds! One almost needs a stool to get onto the bed, hoping not to fall off at night.But, as mentioned, it's perfectly fine for one or two nights. Originally submitted in German on www.tripadvisor.de.     Very comfortable and clean room, perfect for a couple of nights stay. Polite and helpful staff, nice bar, decent breakfast. Can't really fault anything. Good location too, within walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. Only negative was a little traffic noise if overlooking the main road, but didn't affect sleep

    Pros: Large rooms, well air-conditioned, modernly furnished, but rather middle class instead of 4* hotel.Cons: Parking garage for 14,00 Euro Roller blinds turned off for a long time Refrigerator not working Minibar used to exist, was removedAs a business traveler (50 hotels per year), this hotel can only be recommended to a limited extent.     First of all: I am originally from the area and always wanted to stay there.Room was nice, hallway came in years.Breakfast may be included but corresponds rather level simple hotel/board. Coffee in thermos which is placed early in the morning and remains until the end just like scrambled eggs. Breakfast staff barely seen so no chance to ask for cappuccino (which probably would have cost extra). Only rolls (they were delicious), not much cheese and sausage selection: Sausage cut thick (no go). Gave half croissant that probably someone else left...     The hotel is showing its age in all areas. Everything is a bit shabby and needs to be renovated or renewed urgently. This applies to all areas. The reception is uninspiring. The rooms are a bit shabby and a bit musty. There are stains everywhere on the carpet. There is an unpleasant smell from the siphons in the bathroom. Some of the walls are dirty. Wir sind ein privat geführtes Haus und renovieren deshalb jährlich immer nur einen Teilbereich des Hotels. Das hält die Kosten im Rahmen. Im letzten Jahr wurde das Hotelrestaurant mit dem Frühstücksbuffet sowie der komplette Tagungsbereich und ein Teil der Hotelzimmer neu renoviert. Es ist korrekt, dass manche Bereiche wie z.B. die Hotellobby/die öffentlichen Gästetoiletten und etwa 10% der Zimmer noch etwas älter sind. Das haben wir im Blick. Auch diese Bereiche werden nach und nach modernisiert. Wir hoffen, dass Sie ansonsten mit dem persönlichen Service, unserer Mitarbeiter zufrieden waren.
