They charged me for parking without having rented a car

During my stay, communicating with the staff was extremely difficult, as I was repeatedly told "we don't speak English", even for very simple matters. This is quite strange and problematic for a hotel that hosts international guests.The most serious problem occurred on the day of my departure. I was informed that I had to pay an additional amount. Although I agreed to proceed with the payment, I clearly asked for an invoice. The employee again stated that she did not speak English and provided me with a document entirely in German, without any explanation.The next day, after checking and translating the invoice, I discovered that I had been charged for parking ("parken"), a service that I did not use. I did not rent a car during my stay, nor did I use any parking facilities.

It needs a solid revamp

Stay in this hotel every year. Staff are friendly and the rooms are a good size but they are so dated and breakfast is basic, no room service and they never have non sparkling water in the minibar. The quilts are small and the pillows are square never get a good night sleep.

it's cleanfriendly stafffunctionalit's quietthe hotel is sooooo obsolete. Everything is from the 80's, not being modern even then. Things are heavily worn out, not just a bit. Breakfast is average, you won't be impressed but will fill your belly. Take it only if you care about every penny.

Average small hotel, but with a parking garage

Flora is a nice hotel is a mostly residential neighborhood. While I'm not thrilled with the value here today (149 euro + parking + breakfast), it's better than most in Stuttgart this week. When I asked about it, it turns out there's a huge "Technical Festival" going on, and hotel prices everywhere have gone nuts because everything is booked up. Indeed, I got the last room here. (one hotel I paid 49 euro for on 2 Oct was charging 239 today!).The hotel is a situated behind a bank and a few homes, so generally quiet. There is a parking garage, which is the only option. The room is small, but efficiently laid out with two twin beds and ample wardrobe space and work area. Free WiFi, but their service doesn't play well with Android; never could get it to work on the phone. Great connection with the laptop, however. The bath is likewise small with the smallest shower I've ever seen; I'd estimate 24 x 24 inches. Refrigerator with minibar. Breakfast excellent, with variety of cold cuts, brotchen, cheeses, and scrambled eggs. Overall, good for a night or two.

a very average place, room are very dated, carpets need changing, very basic breakfast. it is however clean, rooms are a decent size and staff are friendly, few eaterys close by and close to train/tram station.
