  A HI Express, with some additional service, at a desolate location

  The hotel offered standard HI Express service, complemented with availability of some food at the down strairs cafeteria until 10pm. However, when I went to order some food after 9 pm, the lady said it was no longer available. I referred then to the guest info saying "until 10 pm", and the lady agreed to go to the kitchen to warm up a pizza. There were two persons serving at the Cafeteria counter at the time, so she did not leave the counter unattended, and making the food probably was part of her work profile in the first place.As I had time, I decided to walk to the S Bahn Station. Asking for advice on the route, I was advised to wrong station. In this hotel. it is important to state which station one plans to go to, not just "the station". In my case, I wanted to walk to the station Sindelflingen, but there is another station in an almost opposite direction. I panicked somewhat, asked people in the street to give further advice. and made it to the correct station in time. My ticket was valid from there only. - I am fluent in German. This was not a language issue The hotel is located in an industrial neighbourhood, nothing at walking distance, except at least two other hotels. Obviously, a visitor must have a reason to stay in that area.   about rubbish stay over the weekend and didn’t sleep a wink over the coldness of the rooms

  rooms are extremely cold and the heating don’t go up there was one nice guy from the bar staff try to help but the rest wasn’t very helpful if you have kids wouldn’t recommend staying hear because it’s to cold in the bar area and especially in the rooms ❌❌ Alexandra Rojek, General Manager at Holiday Inn Express Sindelfingen by IHG, responded to this review Dear William M,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.   Hit or miss, maybe see if there’s another hotel around

  Stayed here for like 2 weeks. The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. When I interacted with her male counterpart he was quite rude and cold. Wasn’t very fond of him. Rooms are small and housekeeping is hit or miss. Breakfast ok.

  •a pleasant experience, good services, good cleanliness. •breakfast is included in the price, but it is quite poor and repeated for 5 days the same products. •also the rather steep price for a small bichon 25 euros for one night plus 10 euros a place in the hotel parking lot.

  Fantastic staff, fresh interior, and solid breakfast spread. The hotel offers simple, stylish, comfortable, and clean rooms. This is my go-to hotel when in the area for business or pleasure and is within walking distance of the Goldberg S-Bahn station (about 15 minutes).
