  Before we had our flight back to Portugal, we have booked a night in the “Star Inn Hotel Stuttgart Airport-Messe”.This is a modern hotel who is located at only 5 minutes drive by car from the airport of Stuttgart. The rooms are good, comfy beds and you can have a very good breakfast, so for people like us who just need a one night stay before to take the flight. We had a good and quiet night sleep and enjoyed the fine breakfast buffet early in the morning, and to close the staff was also very friendly, To park the car you have the opportunity to park for free on the street or to pay for a guarded park. The only thing we find a bit expensive is the “Shuttle service” from and towards the airport, ask for prices and conditions, it is not for free like it is is Portugal. But overall it is a good hotel to have a one night stay

  A great hotel in an excellent location!

  This hotel obviously serves the airport well but it's great for the road traveller- just a kilometre from the A8. And it's everything you would - great customer serice, spot on facilities, comfortable beds with lovely enquires. The rooms are really quite but there's a good bar / bistro downstairs and they serve breakfast from 6.30 which is good news for people like me - I was driving from Ljubljana to north Wales in three days and this was a perfect stop over.

  Amazing customer service

  We got the room in this hotel after missing our connected flight. We wanted to get to the room asap but we encountered some problems with the airport email. Luckily, the amazing worker Mahmud Dalati was at the reception and he did everything to help us and make us feel less stressed. He made this hotel 5 star hotel! :)

  Comfortable Place to Stop

  Family was coming in and wanted to go to Stuttgart for the Christmas Markets. We tried to find a place outside of town, but close to a rail line where we could park and ride into downtown.The Star Inn is right near the airport but the rooms are quiet and clean. Modern bathroom and tiled floors. Bar/Hotel Lounge downstairs was pretty hopping on the evening we were there. People having late night drinks and snacks and conversing about their day.The breakfast looked good, but we chose not to spend the high price for it. There are plenty of bakeries within 5-10 minutes of the hotel.The staff was helpful and gracious. They always had a smile regardless of how busy things were. Added plus for airport travelers, flight times scroll on screen behind the front desk. Also an airport shuttle provided.

  Car park expensive at 16€, checked in efficiently.Room incredibly hot, air conditioning didn’t work so had to open the window wide open all night, luckily it was -4 degrees outside so the room cooled, additionally the fridge didn’t work.Very limited choice of food in the evening, ordered burger & chips, got burger & paprika crisps, pretty sure the burger was pre cooked, frozen then micro waved, not good after a long day travelling.Very close to the airport, for an early flight.
