    Great Position and lovely staff

    We had 6 nights in the Athenian Foss the beginning of November. We stayed in grande suite, which was decent size room with a balcony and a good size bathroom. The bed was comfy and once we worked out the the air conditioning perfect temperature. Although the hotel is on a busy street there is no noise from this , we could hear the clock chimes from rhe cathedral, but this added to the stay. The hotel is in a great position and we walked every where with ease. We chose not to have the rather inclusive breakfast as we enjoy eating breakfast out in a city and there were plenty of places to go very close by. The hotel does not have any communal spaces which is one small draw back . What made it for us where the 3 receptionists, Eva, Dina and Denitsa( I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) all spoke excellent English and were exceptionally helpful. They gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and booked the restaurant, they recommended a trip to the island of Aegina, booked the taxi and Eva walked us down to it. Their help and suggestions made the break very relaxing. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.

    I sent to the hotel an email that I will arrive at the hotel very early in the morning and hope that the should be ready before noon if possible, when I arrived at the hotel the reception person was not available they come at 8am since it is a small boutique hotel, but the minute they arrived I checked-in and went to my room. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly

    WORKED WELL FOR OUR STAY IN ATHENS--WOULD STAY AGAIN

    We recently spent two nights at the Athenian Foss. It was perfect for our needs. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. The room was clean,comfortable and plenty big for the two of us. The breakfast in the restauraunt downstairs was excellent. We even opted to have dinner there one night during our stay. The location is great. A 12 minute walk to the Acropolis museum and within easy walking distance of Plaka and other sites as well. Yes, the elevator is small and quirky, but we were able to both fit in it at one time. We actually found it humorous to use.

    The nicest people in the hotel are Christina orgesa in the restaurant. She is amazing ! Hard working and really fast always helpful and full of smiles . I wish she would work for me . The other person is the receptionist at night with the red hair demthria . I probably spelt it wrong but she is very special as well . Helpful kind thoughtful . The rest of the staff are also nice but these two are really outstanding . We like the hotel it’s a great location . The rooms can be too small for us though …

    First class hotel! This hotel is ideally place for restaurants, sites,cafes and transport. The staff are all amazing and so friendly and helpful It was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacios and had a safe, tea/coffee making facilities and toileteries.You could have your bedding changed every day if you wished and the tea and coffee filled up every day. The sleep quality was excellent , we never heard a sound from outside.Breakfast was in the resaurant attached and it was excellent with loads of choice and super staff as well, especially Giorgos R. it catered for all tastes! We ate in the restaurant most nights as it was so goodThis hotel was great and all the staff seemed very happy. We would go back!
