    Stay away

    rating14 May 2026

We checked into this hotel on Sunday and left within 20 minutes because the conditions were completely unacceptable. The room was not clean, the pillows were yellow-stained, and overall hygiene standards were extremely poor. The pool was also dirty and clearly not maintained. What concerned us most was the safety around the hotel. There were people directly outside our room openly taking and injecting drugs, which made us feel very unsafe. This was not the environment we expected or paid for.Due to the cleanliness and safety issues, we could not stay and checked out almost immediately. Since then, I have emailed the hotel twice requesting a refund and have received no response at all, which has made the experience even more frustrating.Very disappointing experience and not at all as advertised.

Don’t bother adding on breakfast if you have lactose intolerance/vegan

    rating24 Feb 2026

First of all, don’t bother adding on breakfast if you have lactose intolerance or are vegan. Because the only options for breakfast are cold cut meats and cheeses. There are cereals available but when I asked if there was any soy milk available the unhelpful restaurant staff just said there was none. I’m allergic to milk as well as being vegetarian so I couldn’t eat anything.Reiterating what the other people have said, the rooms also seem a bit unclean and it’s in a really rough area/location.

    Awful experience

    rating06 Jan 2026

I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel. While the rates may be lower compared to other options in Athens and the location might appear convenient, my experience was awful. The room wasn't exactly dirty but had a noticeable layer of dust. On our first day, when room was obviously supposed to be cleaned, it was evident that no one vacumed or anything. Additionally, the shower had a persistent leak, the bathroom was flooded after every single shower, and there was a lingering unpleasant smellfrom the toilet no matter how often it was flushed. The breakfast hours were pretty short, from 8 to 10 AM, which was challenging given our packed itinerary. Unfortunately, we only managed to have breakfast there once, and the food options were pretty bad anyway. I was particularly worried when I noticed that the scrambled eggs had green spots. Maybe they were just burnt, maybe not, either way, it shouldnt be a thing. The hotel is clearly outdated, no one really cares to maintain it. The AC barely worked, the walls are paper thin and you can literally hear people turning on their sink. The bed frame was essentially just a piece of wood with chipped paint, and the sheets did not appear to be changed regularly. While I don’t change my own sheets daily at home, it's worth noting. The bed cover was merely wrapped in bed sheets, every day you will wake up tangled in them. The shampoo bottle was empty and was never refilled. I brought my own so it was fine, but it was completely empty already when we arrived so that on its own is weird and shows they really dont pay attention. The surrounding area was another concern. Even if the hotel was satisfactory, the neighborhood did not feel safe, especially after dark. We had an occasion where our Uber driver expressed concern about the area, warning us that it was less than desirable. You know youre in a bad area when even your uber driver is concerned. Although we did not personally experience it, several other reviews mentioned issues with bedbugs. So please keep that in mind and be careful.Ultimately, We relied too much on reviews from the booking website. Well have a lesson for the future to do better research when it comes to hotels. The booking website removes the negative reviews which is why we decided to go there, cause on the website it had pretty good reviews for a pretty good price. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, that does not outweigh the various issues we encountered during our stay.If youre looking for a place to stay in Athens, PLEASE, dont pick this one. You can pay a couple hundred more but have a much much better and safer experience. SAFER being the key here.

    Bed Bugs!!

    rating05 Sept 2025

THIS HOTEL HAS BED BUGS. I feel like I could start and end my review here. Bed bugs are the last thing you want to mess around with and this hotel has a problem with them - judging by the other reviews, it’s clearly not just us who found this. Bed bugs are awesome at hitching a ride on your stuff and coming right back with you!! Luckily we caught them early but, frankly, it’s not what you expect from anywhere you pay money to stay in and what’s more, there are legal protections against this. However, just cut out the middle man and go somewhere without a bed bug problem. I don’t know if this is a recent thing but the fact rooms have been able to grow bed bug colonies is alarming. Professional pest control should be called in like… today. Now.Outside of this issue, there’s a few things, not that it’s really relevant because where this hotel has BEDBUGS, you shouldn’t be staying here. To start on a positive note, hotel staff are very lovely. The swimming pools are quite small? Not necessarily an issue but something to keep in mind. The area you’re in is quite dodgy… you’re a 5 min walk from a Metro station… which is good! But en route to the hotel you will find drug addicts and other characters, at once point walking to the hotel, we saw someone just high out of his mind taking a hit of his crack pipe to give you an idea. The rooms outside of the well, bed bugs? Are quite small. Especially for a twin room especially, you don’t want to come here. Their idea of a twin room is… stretching the definition a bit. The room we were initially given was tiny, luckily they changed our room but (and this holds in, to be honest, every room), basically the twin beds they have are double beds you can pull apart. That’s fine, except the room SIZE is clearly a double room.. in most rooms. If you’re staying with a family member, as I did, or say with a mate, it’s a bit claustrophobic. But mainly, TLDR: AVOID THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT HAS BEDBUGS. Don’t risk it.

    Surrounded by Zombies!

    rating13 Jul 2025

The hotel staff friendly, the only good point I have to say about this hotel. Not very clean and I would not even get in the outdoor pools in fear of becoming ill. The worst of all is the area the hotel is situated amongst lots of homeless on drugs. So many stood head and arms dangling for hours not moving, never felt so unsafe and felt in movie zombie apocalypse. I’m not kidding, book this hotel at your peril. We made sure we were back in our room before dark, never returning to this place. Pleased to leave.
