Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service and a safe are available.     Amazing hostel

    Brilliant hostel right in the heart of Athens. Within walking distance of the acropolis and all the main squares and restaurants as well as the panethenaic stadium. Rooms are clean and the beds in the shared rooms offer excellent privacy with a curtain across the front whilst you sleep. There is a light for reading by your bed and a shelf built into the wall with a charging port to put all your electronics. There are lockers in the rooms that you can put your own lock in to store your luggage. Breakfast is basic but does the job especially for the price. The bar downstairs is a really good addition and the rooftop bar although not serving drinks in the winter, still has seats where you can sit and have great views of the acropolis. For this price in the centre of Athens there isn’t a better place to stay. Absolutely brilliant, will definitely be staying here again and would 100% recommend

    As every year I was in Athens Backpackers - I now come for about 10 years, maybe more, I know the location when it was totally different, when Walther was behind a small window, then we had times when there was a library where we now get breakfast. In older times the breakfast was at the Studios. Martin was not there, but Johny - we had nice talks at the evening, very cool. Maybe I should come to some RMB event in Athens he was showing to me. Or in december when prices are lower. Good place to meet new friends from all over the world.

    The staff at Athens Backpackers were helpful and friendly, the building and rooms were clean, it was easy to find from the train station and has a great rooftop bar! Also, was close by to many restaurants, shops and walking distance to the Acropolis.

    Overcharged for towels, unfriendly staff night and again in The morning. Handle on the room door was broken. No AC. Breakfast fair. The overall vibe was drab, and unwelcoming. The staff seemed disinterested in helping with questions, and the check in process was not obvious at first.

    Very nice and modern hostel. I come every year. The hostel is a little bit more expensive, but it has also clima that works even when it is extreme hot outside, like 37 degrees. Also very good breakfast. I met Johny, Martin, Walther and Ami. Very cool.
