This hotel is located in the midst of a magnificent 300 m² garden, directly on Syngroú- streets, a mere 20 minutes from Syntagma square, Athen's city centre and the Tower of Piraeus. The nearest golf course is just 7 km away. Athens airport is only 45 minutes from the hotel on the transfer bus. There is a bus stop with direct connections to the city centre in the immediate vicinity. In addition there is a free hotel bus service into the centre.

Facility

24 suites, 14 single rooms and 336 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub.     My stay at the Marriott Athens was outstanding from start to finish. The level of hospitality from every member of the staff truly stood out. The doormen and valet team were always welcoming, professional, and quick to assist with anything needed. The front desk staff made check-in smooth and were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout the stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping the rooms spotless and comfortable.What impressed me most was the management team. They went above and beyond to fulfill last-minute requests and made every effort to ensure our stay was stress free and enjoyable.     Hostess (Mary Ellen) had amazing and positive energy each day. The breakfast cook made great Omelettes for me to start my day.. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.     The Athens Marriott it a great base for visiting southern Athens. It is also acceptable for central athens via a 10 minute taxi ride. This is my second stay here and the hotel delivers what I need - consistancy and predictability.The only downside is that there is not a huge range of outdoor seating options at the hotel and breakfast can get busy around 0730-0830.Otherwise another good stay.
