Everything I need for a reasonable price

I stayed at Athinais on multiple occasions in July 2024 and July 2025. It’s a perfect place for those wishing to spend a night or two in Athens before a boat trip to an island or another flight. There is nothing fancy about the hotel, but it is very clean, conveniently located (on the way to and from the airport), has decent breakfast, and even a balcony with a nice view of one of the main streets in Athens. What I like about this hotel: Reasonable price even in high season Location: next to the bus stop from the airport, 600 m from the metro station, close to bars and restaurants. Warm and friendly staff and good value for money!

Firstly, we had a warm and welcoming reception from Liana, apologies if that’s the incorrect spelling! We were early arrivals and had just one day in Athens and wanted to make the most of it! Liana helped us immensely by giving us a room early. The location of the hotel is very close to everything we wanted to see and do. Walking distance to Plaka, all the attractions and restaurants and markets. The room was very quiet and clean, comfy pillows and bed! We arranged for transportation through the hotel and Elizabeth helped us with that. In fact we had a great time in Athens and attribute the experience to the warm and friendly hospitality that we had from the Athinais Hotel staff! Thank you! Friendly service! I had made somewhat complex booking as i decided to extend my stay and a friend joined for part of the stay, but everything was sorted out well! The personnel remember their guests and asked about our lost hat almost before we even realized it was lost. Breakfast was also very nice with different options. I really felt welcomed here! Great stay!

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Hotel is in a great location. From the moment I walked in the staff were great. I asked a lot of questions. Can I store my bag after check out? Yes. What time does the airport bus come? Can I borrow an electrical adapter for my phone? Amazingly they had one! Saved my life as I forgot to bring the correct European plug for my cable. My room was at the back so very quiet. Room was also clean. The breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to the airport bus stop & few minutes walk to Magaro Moussikis metro (subway) stop. So it's very convenient to get to/from the hotel and to get anywhere around Athens. The Hotel is very good, nice and clean and the staff were excellent. After a very small issue which it was my mistake the reception team especially Anna handled it very correctly. If you are planning to book at the hotel just do it. R405 November 29.
