    This is such a lovely hotel. The staff are excellent- very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. Large room and bathroom. The breakfast had hot and cold foods (including Greek yoghurt and honey). The roof terrace is a must- in the eveving with the Acropolis lit up as a backdrop or during the day for a rest in the shade. The location of the hotel is so convenient- only a few minutes away from the metro and close to the places of interest. We walked to the entrance to the Acropolis in about 20 mins.

    Bed bugs!

    The hotel has two positive aspects going for it: (1) it is centrally located and (2) the rooftop bar has a nice view of the Acropolis hill.Anything beyond this, the hotel is below average. The common areas and rooms are very dated. On the first night I laid down on the bed and after 15-20 minutes I noticed there was a BED BUG moving on the bed! I quickly contacted the staff on the reception and showed them a video with a moving BED BUG from the room. The receptionist didn't seem to be surprised of the finding. They gave me another hotel room. Looking at other reviews of the hotel, BED BUGS seem to be recurring problem in the hotel. Wouldn't surprise me if the building was infested.The second room wasn't all that better; sure it did not have any more bed bugs, but the bathroom grout lines had black mold spots on them.Cannot recommend.

    I’ve just got back from a good trip to Athens we’re I stayed at the Attalos hotel and good value for the money The staff were friendly the breakfast was good and the location was excellent for the Acropolis and museum.But the rooftop bar and terrace was excellent especially at night when everything was lit up , plus the lady who ran the bar was very nice and knowledgeable.The atmosphere was great with people from all countries .The rooms were clean and comfortable and worth the money.Even though the hotel was close to the main square the noise ok ,

    An excellent hotel in the heart of Athens. Myself and a female friend stayed here for 4 nights and the staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed mojitos (excellent and 7.5 euros each) most evenings on the terrace bar where we enjoyed the view of the Parthenon. We walked everywhere from the hotel and used the metro to return to the airport on our last day. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Balcony was a bonus and the breakfast was fantastic.

    Killer unpretentious spot in the heart of psiri athens. Great neightbourhood, friendly vibes and spotless rooms with killer views of the acropolis from your balcony overlooking the chaos of psiri and the rooftop garden. Also like a block away from the super efficient and easy athens metro. Ill probably stay here again as a home base for athens exploration in fhe future as the neighbourhood is so fun! Highly recommended if you need a great place to home base from. Fab, friendly and professional staff as well!Attalos was such a simple choicethat when I needed a spot for my last night I booked a room just before arriving back at piraeus after 3 nights there when I forst arrived. I also made a booking error on a non-cancellable reswrvation (i booked for 4/11/2026 not 11/4/2026) and they took care of it without any friction despite being well within their righta to deny the refund. Great service!
