    The entrance isn't great which gives you a bad impression BUT the rooms were really nice - bed, sheets and pillows super cozy. Room was very very clean (spotless) and all of the staff were very nice. Breakfast was great - better than I expected to be honest. You have a number of hot items - eggs, sausages, bacon, beans and also a wide array of breads, cheese and salami. You have pastries, honey, salad and jams and even a breakfast cereal station. Tea and variety of hot drinks and breakfast juices too. Wished only that the sausages were not the processed ones but the quality was still good and again the whole place was very clean. There is a roof top restaurant which I liked also. Location is great and good value for money. Will be returning again to Athens and will book this hotel again.

    Was apprehensive about staying in Dorian Inn having read many of the reviews about the area.We arrived quite late due to taxi strike by underground. Hotel is situated a one minute walk from Omonia underground station. There were some unsavory people roaming around but would expect this from any major city and did not feel unsafe as there was local police on most corners.Reception at the Hotel is underwhelming but all staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.Room was excellent, recently renovated, very clean and a good size. Excellent shower in the en-suite.Roof Top Pool and Bar is a must see with amazing views over the entire city and beyond.We were in Athens for a football match and on a budget.There are probably nicer hotels in slightly nicer areas but you would expect to pay more. This hotel is perfect if you are just staying 1-3 nights in Athens.

    We stayed one night at the Dorian Inn. The room was sufficient and the bathroom huge. However, our boxed breakfast the next day included two stale buns, a banana, dry toast, and a bottle of water.We were advised if we wanted coffee there was a coffee shop down the street .Do not walk the side streets or back alley! We were the only two women walking down there and noticed all the graffiti, garbage and locks .

    Rooms were being renovated on my floor so sawdust & drywall. My room was clean and renovated. Fridge was old, two lights didn't work. Superb girls on reception were very helpful. Great breakfast. Good location. Rooftop pool/bar with view of Acropolis were best feature. This hotel caters to tour groups and there were 3 there during my 3 night stay.

    We turned up to a fairly hostile greeting at reception, after which we were directed to our room upstairs.I’d have had a more comfortable night on the street.Every single spring in the mattress was felt, with pillows so firm I may as well have slept on the floor.The bathroom looked like that of a Cold War bunker, with a toilet that was impossible to flush, plumbing seemingly done by a first week apprentice, the shower head was not suitable for anybody over 5’8, nor did it stay in the bracket holding it onto the wall. Not to mention the liquids coming up through the drain on the bathroom floor.The air conditioning blew only warm air, of which the velocity was that of an asthmatic door mouse.The rooftop bar is, however, a nice yet expensive place to get drunk and forget about where you’re staying.Not particularly impressed, we paid €140 for a hostel room worth no more than 10. A refund would be most welcomed.
