Location

The hotel is located close to the old Town Hall of Athens, very close to all main attractions of the city. It lies in the ancient centre of historic Athens and offers many interesting sights and places to visit such as the Plaka area, the oldest section of Athens, where there are many shops, bars and cafés. Guests may enjoy a visit to the iconic Acropolis, climb the steps to see the Parthenon, view the Erechteion and the other marvellous structures, go to the flea market at Monastiraki or visit the National Archaeological Museum, which ranks amongst the top 10 museums in the world.

    A good option when in Athens

    The hotel is handily situated between Omonia and Monastiraki squares and pretty much all the main sights are reachable on foot. The staff were friendly and efficient and always happy to answer questions or provide advice about whwre to go and what to sew. My room was on the 8th floor and you could see the Acropolis from there. The lift was a bit slow but you got there, eventually. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean, with a decent shower. There was space for hanging clothes as well as some bed side cabinets and a table with a big mirror over it. The tv had 1 English news channel but you don't go to Athens to watch tv. There is air con and when you check in, you are given the controls for this, as well as the tv remote controls. The only down sidevwas the breakfast. The hot optiions were some poor quality sausages, along with over cooked eggs but there were some decent pastries, as well as cold meats and cheeses. The orange juice didn't taste great, either. Overall, this is a good option and I would be happy to stay there again.

    Awful reception staff and bedbugs

    Good location but the staff at the reception, especially daytime, is dreadful. Not only he is not welcoming but he is extremely rude and insulting. I was severely beaten by bedbugs in room 407. He didn't even apologise. Instead he shouted at me and told me to clear the room. I couldn't even have breakfast that is included in the price. 55€! He refused to boil my clothes and to spray some product on my expensive REPETTO ballet costume. It is a disgrace !

    VERY basic room but beautifully clean, cleaned every day, towels etc. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. No hot buffet but plenty of everything else. Cheese, meat, cereals, breads, fruits, jams, teas, coffee, juices, and plenty of fresh Greek yoghurt. Would highly recommend.

    I only stayed here for one night, but it seemed a very pleasant and affordable hotel, very centrally located close to Monastiraki Square and the Central Market. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.The breakfast was quite good. I was a little unlucky in that one of the big local sports clubs had won a major trophy the evening I stayed there, so there was quite a lot of noise on the street until quite late at night, but that was not the fault of the hotel staff and perhaps the price one might have to pay for the hotel being so centrally located.I would certainly consider staying there again

    Great location, near Monastiaki and Omonia Metros. The hotel is modern and clean. The beds are comfortable and the best pillows we have had outside 5*star hotels. Bath linen was changed everyday without being requested. No tea/coffee making facilities but there is a fridge in the room. Reception staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and inclusive but the room not large and very mismatched tables.
