    I really don't understand how this place has a low rating. Checking out tomorrow morning and from the second I checked in, you couldn't meet nicer people running the hotel.Hospitable, friendly and gracious with a special shout to Dimi and Nadia on the bar who couldn't have been any more welcoming and made you feel like part of the hotel fabric.Rooms are cosy, well maintained and a special thanks to the cleaner today who noticed me with a twisted ankle but still took time out of her day to offer me assistance getting back on my feet.The only thing it misses is a swimming pool somewhere but apart from that, a superb hotel, great location and it's the staff that really make it special.I'll hopefully see you all again soon. Legends all of you.

    Wonderful Stay

    We have returned after a four night stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say that it is a great place to stay.We had a superior double bedroom and whilst the views are not spectacular as we overlooked the road outside, the room makes up for it. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, quiet at night and rooms serviced every day.The breakfast is continental style. It doesn't look much but there is plenty of choice to fill you up for the day. The Greek Yoghurt was lovely as was a home made cherry preserve (missing it already). There are great views of the Acropolis from the breakfast room and the rooftop terrace.The location of the hotel is a bit odd as there's buildings with graffiti and it feels a bit rough at night, but it's not - it's just how it is and is perfectly safe. Also, it's just a five minute walk from the bustling tavernas and main square of Monistaraki.It was great value for four nights. This place is a real gem and if you want something that ticks all the boxes and is close to the city, then this is it.

    Stayed with a friend for 5 nights. Very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet and the view on the roof terasse is unbeatable.

    Noisy nights but good service

    Stayed 5 nights and woke up each night due to the noise level. Our hotel room was right next to the street, which made the nights incredibly loud. Car alarms going off in the middle of night, waking you up etc. The windows/ balcony door don’t/doesn’t have the best isolation, causing you to wake up due to noise in the middle of the night. The breakfast was good, loads of proteins, with high quality food. The hotel rooms themselves are just as described in the pictures. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations in the 1st and 2nd floor.

    Great Location, Friendly Staff, Nice views from the roof top restaurant. Price lower than the average in this area. Breakfast is very very poor. It needs a brave upgrade. No fried eggs, no bacon, no sausages. Not even an espresso machine!!!! A very old building, is under restoration. During the night, the neighborhood might not be so safe. Difficult to park around.
