Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 90 rooms, including 9 single rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well.     Wonderful Hotel right near the Acropolis

    Herodion Hotel is wonderfully tucked by the Acropolis and the Museum. Most of the other sites are walkable but the hotel will call cab if you desire one. The rooms were roomy, comfortable and welcoming. We had a wonderful view of the Acropolis. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Markis and the front-desk staff always were willing to help. I am unable to remember everyone’s name but from the bell staff to the cleaning crew they were all very kind.and helpful. The restaurant and bar on the rooftop had an amazing view of the Acropolis. The food was also delicious. The mixologist, Bill, always was happy to serve us as we watch him do his magic with the drinks. The bar by the front desk had a sweet young lady who was willing to make my unique tequila drink. We cannot express how wonderful this place is. You need to stay and see the special place it is.

    Lovely hotel conveniently nestled in the heart of the Acropolis neighborhood, with helpful and friendly staff, a gorgeous view of the Parthenon and Mt Λυκαβηττόςfrom the rooftop and ample comfortable seating areas near the entrance. Just next door to the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis metro stop. Special thanks Panos, Andromachi, Demetri and all the staff!

    Herodion is a very pleasant hotel, located within walking distance of the Acropolis. It is well-appointed and well-maintained; the breakfast is abundant and caters to every taste. It has everything one needs for a perfect urban stay. I would specifically want to extend my praise and appreciation to the Herodion staff. I ran into a situation where I needed their assistance and had to rely on their honesty and ethics; they absolutely didn't disappoint - their conduct was very candid and truly professional; couldn't ask for more. If I am ever in Athens, will be happy to stay with them again.     We stayed at this wonderful hotel in May 2026. After the long trip from NYC we pulled up to the hotel. Someone immediately came out to greet us. We checked in with ease and were notified we were in the apartments section. Ok, we thought. Someone then whisked off with our luggage as we followed, around the block. We were wondering what was going on, especially being so tired from our trip. But then when we arrived at the room, I mean, Wow!!! What a place this was. It's a full apartment, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, original art and furniture. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was so attentive and anything we asked for was done with a smile. The buffet breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and delicious. The location is perfect, a 5 min walk to our tour spot and right around the corner from shops and restaurants. Thank you so very much to every single staff member there who made our stay so wonderful!!!
