  A pleasant stay with good service from staff

  I recently stayed for three nights at this hotel. In terms of access to the hotel, it is well located, within walking distance of Aghios Ioannis metro station. Despite arriving about an hour earlier than the official check in time, I was allowed to check in immediately. I was offered an upgraded room at check in, which is appreciated. The room had a kettle and mini fridge. The room was of a good size and was comfortable. Any member of staff I interacted with during my three night stay were pleasant and helpful. The staff speak good English. Bar prices were reasonable. There was a good choice from the breakfast spread. The wifi was effective. The hotel was happy to store luggage for a few hours on check out. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would stay here again.   Inhospitable, discourteous and unhelpful

  My daughter—who is studying for her masters degree in another country—and I stayed here for five nights in April. My daughter had a school event on Zoom she needed to stream, so she went to sit in the courtyard, but a few minutes before it was over a loud group came in and sat next to her. Because she couldn’t hear, she moved to an inside table in the restaurant area, where it was quiet because no one was eating. The staff there then made her leave because she “wasn’t going to buy anything.” I feel as though the fact that I am paying for five nights of lodging IS buying something, and because she was not asking for anyone to wait on her, and in light of the fact that she wasn’t taking up a table that someone else wanted, it shouldn’t have been a problem for her to sit there for 10 minutes. They didn’t even try to assist her, even though she was a paying guest.In my opinion, Ibis Styles is NOT family friendly, and their staff is NOT accommodating. I cannot recommend this hotel, and I will not patronize this hotel chain in the future.

  Solid, good value option south of acropolis

  Great value option for families or couples on holiday. The location was convenient to city centre while still being in a quiet local neighborhood. Rooms clean with good aircon, though we did have an issue with pipes smell that could not be resolved. TV casting app didn’t work and HDMI programmed to prevent use of our fire stick, which was a bummer. Breakfast okay, but nothing special. The bar is fully stocked with a great service and lovely relaxed courtyard. Warm welcome throughout and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.   Nice, clean and walk to city centre.

  Nice hotel - 25 minutes walk to the centre. Decent sized rooms and comfortable bed. Restaurant in the hotel is basic and there is a bar attached. Would recommend.

  Stayed here for two nights recently, though didn’t arrive till 2.30am. The guy was really good and kindly let me buy two beers which he didn’t really have to. Usual Ibis decor and a very nice comfortable room. Great shower and bed. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the metro which in turn only is 3 stops to the Acropolis station. All in all a very pleasant stay.
