    A little dated but still delivers

    Before we flew home after 2 weeks exploring Greece, we stayed here for a night to serve as 'buffer' in case any of our plans might be hampered by any delay (fortunately not). From the looks of it, the place seems old, maybe built in the 1960s. Despite this, it still delivered good service even if the location was not that desirable. It is about a 15-minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Sygrou-Fix) and no bus passes directly along its road.Our room was pretty standard -- 2 single beds joined together with comfy pillows and blanket. There was TV, minibar, in-room safe, kettle, free wifi, free coffee and tea but no complimentary mineral water. Water pressure is good, AC control adequate. Buffet breakfast was average: slices of cold-cut meats, cheese, salads, cereals, breads, etc. but no fresh fruits.If you do not mind to be in an area far from Plaka or Monastiraki then this property fits the bill.

    Stayed in Ilissos during my previous trip in Athens. Great location, but the hotel has poor soundproofing.Staff helpful.

    Somewhat disappointing

    This hotel was somewhat disappointing, as it appears to offer more than it actually does. While officially a 4 star property, I would personally consider it closer to a 3 star experience.The rooftop, promoted for its views of the Acropolis, is only open as a bar for evening cocktails. Being a small enclosed space with glass walls, the interior lighting reflections make it difficult to fully enjoy the scenery. Breakfast is served on the ground floor rather than on the rooftop, and I found the selection somewhat limited considering the price.On one occasion, we experienced a lack of hot water. The hairdryer was also completely useless.The hotel is located over a 30 minute walk from the main attractions and streets, which meant we often relied on taxis, particularly given the summer heat of nearly 40°C. On the positive side, the staff were outstanding, always friendly, smiling, and eager to assist.While we do plan to return to Athens, we would choose a more centrally located hotel next time.

    Located near a busy high roads and not far from the city centre with a nice roof terrace. It seems the hotel often hosts kids on a school trip making sleeping at night extremely complicated.Aside of that I haven't found anything else so negative

    There are some uncomplimentary reviews below and I found them rather unfounded on my visit. The hotel is basic but the rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was OK although a refresh of decor would help. The rooftop bar has a very good view of Athens.Sleep quality was OK but not amazing.There is a desk to work at and a bottle of water is provided in the fridge.Staff are excellent and very helpful
