    On the second day had some itching swellings on my neck and arms, and explored the bedding only to find a large bedbug. My report to management was met with aggressive denial, bullying and thuggish behaviour. I took my family and left in utter disgust.

    A different kind of hotel

    The hotel is not like what you may be used to here in the states. It's in two separate buildings with the second building being across the street. The rooms are good sized and comfortable but not very flashy. The rooms are cleaned and made up daily. Breakfast is included. Nothing big, eggs, beacon, fruits, breads, juices, coffee and the like. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are plenty places to eat will within walking distance. In the building we were in, which was across the street, the elevator is small and stops between floors. In other words when you exit the elevator you will have to walk down a short flight if four steps to get to your room. Beyond that I really don't have anything negative to say about Lotus Inn.

    Fantastic place. An easy trip from the airport on the metro, then a 150m walk to the hotel.Beautiful styled room with air con, double glazing and we had a view of the acropolis.The staff were all lovely and helpful.The area was fun to explore and we walked to syntagma square through small lanes with stylish shops.We slept solidly in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the free breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the acropolis again Loved it. A great start to our holiday.

    Go for the jacuzzi suite!

    This hotel was a highlight of our 11 day trip to Greece. We spent our last 2 nights at the Lotus Inn, in the suite with the outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the Acropolis. The view was incredible. The room had everything we needed. My kids (8&10) were OBSESSED with the private elevator right to the room. (There’s a few steps up into the room, for anyone with serious mobility issues, this could be a dealbreaker.)The staff were friendly. The breakfast at the main hotel across the street was all we needed to power us through the first half of our days. It also has a beautiful view.
