    Very Disappointing in Many Aspects

    Elements is located in the suburb of Chalandri which is around seven miles to the north east of Athens.It is not close to any metro stations so buses down the busy Kifisias Avenue are the transport option into Athens.I used buses A7, E14 and 550 from the Ygeia bus stop. The buses were invariably very crowded and it was uncomfortable and quite a long journey due to the heavy traffic (around 45 minutes).I found the receptionist on my arrival to be rude and quite hostile. She proceeded to treat me like a child.My room was small but the bed was comfortable. It contained a kitchenette plus a bin that had not been emptied. I put my valuables in the safe and I was unable to reopen it, so I had to get the unhappy receptionist to open it with the master key. I did not attempt to reuse it again during my stay.The shower worked OK for the first two days but on the last day, I had to wash using the tap as I couldn’t get it to operate.Breakfast, for which I paid an extra €9 per day, was very basic.Some slices of ham and cheese., a few pieces of fruit, dried apricots and some pastries.I ended up having plain yogurt with honey, a couple of slices of cake and some fruit juice.On the plus side, the housekeeping was good (apart from the full bin on day one). Bottles of water were supplied free of charge in the refrigerator.I note that several correspondents used the hotel as it’s close to nearby hospitals. It is also close to the 2004 Olympic stadium. However, it really isn’t the place to stay for central Athens.The airport is around 17 miles away and there are several routes to take using buses and the Metro or suburban trains. Taxi is arguably a better option.I paid just over £205 for three nights. Reasonably cheap but by no means cheerful.

    Very good stay at this hotel. The very friendly receptionist. The room was super comfortable, the bathroom very good, the towels were not white, but it wasn't a big problem. The big bathroom and the shower very good. Good location, residential, super quiet area. The super equipped kitchen. I really enjoyed and super recommend this place!

    Me and hubby booked Elements just because it was close to Hygeia Hospital. It is just a few meters away. It is more a hotel apartment. You get your room cleaned every day plus you have a kitchenette with everything you need. Tea and coffee facilities plus 2 small bottles of water! Rooms where spotlessly cleaned, staff extremely helpful and so polite. Spyros at reception was a gem. If your hungry, just follow Spyros suggestions of where to go for good food. He was so helpful, polite, smiley, you feel as if he is a member of your family. Same applies to Maria.Breakfast was simple but plenty.Good coffee.I trully reccomend.Made our runnings to the hospital easier not having to stress about our stay.

    Our second stay at this lovely hotel. Very warm and friendly hosts - George and Spyros who made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Room very comfortable and lovely shower and bathroom. Huge balcony. Breakfast with various fruit, cheeses and nice breads and croissants. Nice sunny breakfast area and bar. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and I'm really fussy! Clean, comfortable and very well run and immaculately clean. Easy to get to Athens in a cab (20 mins off peak 40 mins peak time) for around 10 - 12 euros and no more!

    The room was very clean, ample size with a good shower and we were very pleased by all the attention to details. Toothbrushes, my daughter had forgotten hers! As well as facilities to make a hot drink & a toasted sandwich. The balcony was also a big plus. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in walking distance to several hospitals. Our visit was for surgery. The Golden Shopping Mall is also within walking distance. The streets surrounding were clean and well lit and the apartments are in a good neighborhood.
