The hotel is conveniently located in the cultural and historical heart of Athens within walking distance of Omonoia Square, Syntagma, Plaka, Monastiraki, Agora and of course the Parthenos and the Acropolis Museum. The hotel is also served by the Athens metro, as well as multiple bus and tram links. It is a 10-minute walk from Athens city centre, whilst Metaxourgeio metro station is just outside the hotel. Piraeus Port is 10 km away and Athens international airport is 25 km from the hotel.

The hotel has a junior suite, a suite, 5 single rooms and 78 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Excellent stay once more...Third time at the same hotel. Everything perfect as always..The view is amazing, the cleaningless too, but most of all the courtesy of the staff.Thank you once more..!! be back soon

    We were allocated this hotel as part of a cruise package by Cruise 118 (who we no longer use). I would recommend caution by anyone using this hotel. Pros- Rooms are spacious and clean- There is a lovely rooftop barCons- The area is rough. Turning left out of the main door is ok, but turn right at your peril. The alleys off the main street are drug infested. We walked in early evening from the hotel into the city centre. This was very uncomfortable and not repeated! - The reception staff are not welcoming. They are monosyllabic and barely civil. When coming back in to the hotel we were largely ignored- Breakfast - possibly the worst breakfast we have had in a hotel. The coffee was disgusting (tasted burnt), all the food was cheap, the orange juice watery. Only the Greek yoghurt offered some redemption . However, the serving ladies were good. The area alone is enough to put us off ever wanting to stay here again. However, the hotel itself is unwelcoming. Not one for us.

    The rooms of this hotel are quite good and spacious. Additionally, the general manager at the hotel was very helpful- he is a credit to the hotel. We generally found the hotel to be clean and there were good options for food in the hotel restaurant. Our lunch there was delicious.In my view, the options for breakfast could be widened including having fresh cut fruit and more vegetarian options. The negative is the location and it is not a particularly safe area at night. On the side road next to the hotel, there was a large group of homeless/drug intoxicated people. If walking to the hotel in the dark, it is best to stick to the main roads.

    This is a very budget hotel, it served its purpose however it is not somewhere I would recommend to anyone.First is due to the location, please simply do your research, the hotel is located in the middle of the city, it is next to streets which are full of homeless and drugs, I witnessed people using as-well as drug deals happening in broad day light. The streets are quite dirty with what appeared to be human excrement on the pavements and a strong smell of urine down most of the nearby streets.The hotel itself is basic but if you just need a place to get your head down, it is however clean and perfect for just that. In terms of the room, this was likely down to me simply misreading the information before booking the hotel, whilst it is not the end of the world, there are no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, it is slightly annoying but you’ll live.They also have lights in the room which are intended to be moved about however, upon trying to bend this as designed, it was not fully attached to the wall and if this had of been pulled on much harder or moved, would of come straight out of the wall. I also used one of the plug sockets at the far end of the room, however when trying to take out my plug, pulled the socket covering off which is not ideal. Information regarding the room also states ‘Air-con’ however this was difficult to use and could only get this to work once, when I spoke to reception about this, they said at this time of year it should not work and can only be used for ‘hot air’. I am from the UK and the temperatures over here were up to 18. We really did struggle with the heat in the room. The food was basic but it was nice enough, I’ve had worse but equally I have had better. They had options such as a savoury, hot, cereal and fruit breakfast so yes there is something there for everyone. They had a variety of options for dinner too which were nice. We didn’t have lunch so I cannot comment on that. I cannot fault the staff, they are friendly and welcoming and more than happy to help in terms of arranging transportation around the city and any other enquires/information you may need.Please note that the issues in the room did not effect are stay but I feel should still be taken into consideration when booking a hotel. The other thing to consider too is if you are looking for something quiet then this is not the hotel for you. The rooms are supposed to be soundproof however even with the windows shut the city is loud at night. I could hear someone snoring from another room (Yes, they were incredibly loud). There were also two school trips here during our 4 night stay.This hotel just wasn’t for us but as mentioned serves it’s purpose for something that is basic and if you are on a budget.
