  Top-notch four-night experience

  From the outside the Q&B (Ochre and Brown) Hotel is unassuming, located on a narrow street housing a few bars and mom-and-pop stores. It's quite easy to walk right by it. Just around the corner, though, there are at least a dozen restaurants/bistros and a couple of bodegas. Plus: a fantastic view of the Parthenon. And it's only a ten-minute walk to Monastiraki Station, with luggage! Everything in the inside of the hotel is top notch. Rooms were inviting, well-appointed, and comfortable. The staff (room service; breakfast attendants; front desk; management) is friendly, eager to answer questions, and help out otherwise. It seemed like everyone enjoyed working there. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Well, except for the loud music on Saturday night coming from one club down the street. However, that was not enough of a nuisance to keep Q&B Hotel from getting a 5 star rating (excellent) from us

  If only all staff were this good!

  This hotel is in a great spot for exploring Athens. I was wary of the rather churlish review elsewhere on this site regarding location; graffiti and pavement but this was misleading. All Athens has been defaced by graffiti and the perpetrators are no respectors of heritage. Yes the street outside has crumbling paviors but that too is the case all over. Athens is a compact and rather confined city so its vibrant night culture will generate noise wherever you stay. The rooms were clean and modern with very comfortabie beds and excellent showers. Breakfast had a good and healthy selection that should please everyone.The outstanding thing, above all that, is the staff: such a friendly and helpful bunch who arranged things for us and gave advice that really enhanced our stay.

  Great location for walking around.

  The location was perfect for us, walking distance to the 'hop on' bus stop, the metro stop, to the Acropolis & other sights. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our room was clean, bright, spacious. The bed & bedding was very comfortable. The staff was so helpful, they helped us make transportation arrangements during a taxi strike. The breakfast had a nice assortment of hot & cold food, fresh fruit & juices, tea, coffees & treats. The neighbourhood was comfortable to walk around, day & evening. There is quite a few restaurants, coffee shops, shopping within walking distance. The hotel also provided a good selection of recommendations for food. A must see is the "Little Kook Alley" just blocks away. 360 rooftop bar had a great view. The Kyklamino restaurant, family owned & great food. Extremely happy with the decision to stay at this hotel.

  A Perfect Stay Thanks to an Amazing Team

  We stayed at this hotel for two nights (20-22/3/26)as a family of four, and we had a truly wonderful experience.First of all, the location is perfect—just a very short walking distance to the heart of the city, including the famous Monastiraki area. It made exploring Athens incredibly easy and enjoyable.The room was spacious enough and very comfortable, especially considering we were traveling as a family. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared for our stay.What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Giannis and Alexandra were absolutely fantastic—always positive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. No matter what we asked, they responded with genuine kindness, a big smile, and a willingness to assist. We also met another gentleman during check-out whose name I unfortunately forgot, but he was just as by friendly and professional.I even had a long and pleasant conversation with Giannis—he is such a kind and warm person, and interactions like that really made our stay memorable.This was our first trip to Athens, and we loved everything about the city—the atmosphere, the people, and the overall experience. Staying at this hotel played a big part in that.I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Athens.

  5 Stars for the staff, great place to stay, Close to the center.

  The hotel is great, the rooms are not so big ,but are comfortable, the place is near the Center , a few minutes of walking to everything in the center ( The center is Big).The staff was Excellent,5 Stars for the staff they made all of the experience between us and the hotel the very best.They helped when we wanted to look for a place for 6 People for an Airbnb after we finished our days that we paid for in the hotel, they helped us find a place , they told us which Neighborhoods we need to avoid.The kitchen staff helped us, a young girl who was the waitress in the morning and also the one who made our coffee in the morning.., 5 Star for her, she helped us in anyway she could , she explained everything we asked, she speaks English very well, even when she was working on things she finished and found her time to help us and answer our questions.If the hotel manager reads this, tell her that the Israeli people who were at the hotel a week ago give her a big thank you and also for the manager, you earned a great worker, appreciate her.We will recommend it because of her and the staff at the reception, we will recommend your place.They made our whole trip easier and nicer.
