  Worst possible place.

  Worst possible experience. The room was nothing like the photos. Anyone can enter the hotel. I had to find another place as the receptionist promised my money back and I am still fighting to be reimbursed for the two nights - and I stayed none of them there.When I disagreed about not receiving my money back, because they said the receptionist couldn’t promise me that, I was yelled at and received pointing fingers as I heard “I should behave”. I suffered harassment.I paid for a service that they refused to provide and I am still fighting for my rights after this abuse. Don’t go there.

  Most pathetic disgusting dirty full of ants and cow ends … like a horror movie hotel experience .NEVER STAY here

  This is regarding our booking in this hotel Athens Odeon.We have add a horrifying experience since we have come to this hotel.1. The neighbourhood is unsafe. This was highlighted by our receptionist. As soon as we checked in the receptionist told that we have to be careful while moving outside as there is regularly chain snatching and burglaries happening in the neighbourhood of the hotel, and also said that the Police station is just 500mtrs away. What kind of a welcome we got.2. The hotel doesn’t even have basic amenities like bellboys to take furbniture, water to drink in the rooms, coffee machine or even tea and coffee bags. The bathrooms are pathetic and the soaps and shampoos are unusable. The rooms have broken furniture, the towels stink of some oil.3. To top it off when we woke up in the morning the room was full of ants, in our clothes, on the bed, on the blankets everywhere. And when housekeeping, receptionist was called they said it is just ants and not to worry and they don’t bite. Even the management didn’t seem to care about the situation.So inspite of points 1&2 we stayed the night , but due to point 3 above we are compelled to leave the room and shift to some other hotel. Which we are in the process of costing us both our money and our precious time.This experience has left us flabbergasted. This hotel should be black listed so an esteemed website like Booking.com doesn’t get roped in and trouble its customersWe are demanding a full refund of this booking and compensation for booking another hotel and also would like to know what steps booking.com has taken to reprimand the hotel. We tried to find contact numbers but couldn’t find any on your website so had to send you this email with proofHope this review will reach the correct people and we will be refunded immediatly

  FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE

  I stayed at this hotel on June 15th and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The room had a strong and constant sewer smell, poor ventilation, and overall conditions that did not match the photos online.I couldn’t sleep and contacted Booking.com at 3:00 AM, asking for urgent help with a rebooking. That was when I needed their support — but I received no reply, and the customer service phone line wasn’t working either.Since I didn’t get any assistance, I had no choice but to book a new hotel myself for June 16–20, which cost me €396.80.I do not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made. My stay was uncomfortable, and I had to cover extra costs alone due to the lack of support.

  My first stay at the lovely Hotel and I must say I was impressed with everything , I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The main thing I want to mention is the wonderful staff , they are all true Professionals , friendly , welcoming and pro-active to their guests needs and wants, BRAVO to all !Front Desk - Lefteris , Dimitria , Konstantinos , Panagiotis and Sotiria . Thankyou very much for everything, especially those lovely Greek coffees.Breakfast- Arhonto and Simona, everything was just perfect, great food impeccable service. Thankyou very much indeed.

  Perfectly adequate budget hotel, close to great bars and restaurants.

  Had a great stay here whilst attending a gig in Athens. Staff were friendly and helpful, and also spoke English which was a bonus for us non-Greek speakers! It's not fancy and it's not perfect but it was fine for us. It's in a fairly ethnically-diverse area, which I believe is the cause of other reviewers deeming it 'dodgy', but for us it was friendly and welcoming, with lots of great restaurants, bars etc. The bathroom was a bit basic, but again, perfectly adequate. Everything worked. The only slight issue was the fact that the air-conditioning didn't work well and we were told not to adjust it, so it was very warm. Not too bad in February, but would be a big problem in the summer. Overall, would definitely stay here again in the cooler months.
