    We chose this hotel based on prior reviews and its proximity to the cruise port since we were going on a cruise from Athens to Istanbul. The facility is very clean and quiet, although the neighborhood can sometimes be noisy due to a major street nearby and several restaurants with outdoor entertainment. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was generous and enough to keep us going while we did a quick tour of Athens. The only minor issue was that we thought we had reserved a room with twin beds but got a queen so things were a bit cosy.The cost was quite a bit less than a similar hotel in downtown Athens, so if you're willing to take public transportation or (as we did) use the Hop On Hop Off bus network, it's easy to see the sights in a short time period.

    Very unreliable to say the least. They confirmed that they could arrange our transportation after the Cruise to Athens Airport & they sent an email saying that it was to us to make the necessary arrangements. We stayed for 1 night upon our arrival Athens.

    My wife and I started our holiday on 10/9/25 at a hotel in Corfu. Unfortunately my wife collapsed at dinner on our first day and needed to be resuscitated. She was taken by ambulance to the Corfu general hospital and later flown by air ambulance to Athens mainland Greece for further treatment. My medical insurance subsequently flew me to Athens and was booked to stay at Port Tower Hotel.This is a new, modern, comfortable hotel over several floors with lifts . It has a transient clientele as it’s used by those joining or disembarking from cruise ships in Piraeus. The hotel serves a buffet style breakfast only and has a gym but no pool.All staff we met spoke very good English.My main praise is for the hotel manager Mr David Stefanidis and his team who were aware of our predicament. David was especially helpful organising transportation for myself to/from the clinic where my wife was a patient to extending my stay for a long as required. Even moving our belongings to a superior room for us.On one occasion I needed a taxi to/from my wife’s clinic but taxi drivers were on strike that day. Again David to the rescue booking a private cab whose driver was a personal friend.From a hotel perspective 4*. From a personal perspective 10* for David and Team.David and team went beyond that which you’d normally expect and my wife and I will be forever grateful to all at this hotel in making my/our stay as stress free as possible.

    I stayed at the Piraeus Port Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the port and incredibly convenient for catching ferries to the islands. Even better, the metro station is nearby, making it super easy to get into central Athens without any hassle.The hotel itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. My room was comfortable and quiet, with everything I needed for a restful night. But the real highlight? The breakfast! A generous buffet with fresh pastries, hot options, and great coffee—exactly what you need to start your day. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe was relaxed yet professional. Whether you’re in transit or staying a few days to explore Piraeus and Athens, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be back!
