    Perfect

Our stay at the hotel was a truly wonderful and unique experience. The view of the Acropolis was absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. There was honestly nothing negative to mention. Communication with the owners was flawless—they were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. HOT!! Room temperature never went below 88-90 with ac on full blast. . Had 2 rooms and both were unacceptable!

    rating12 Dec 2025

HOT!! Room temperature never went below 88-90 degrees. Called & they said just give ac time to cool room. Went out for hours, despite being tired, and having an extra key in power slot only to have room just as hot upon our return. No sleep due to EXCESSIVE heat! There isn’t anyone on site to talk to and since we didn’t get back to the room until after 11:30 pm, we didn’t call again. They only have 8 rooms (we had 2 of them) in this hotel and since it was July, the chances of us finding another room at that hour were slim, we stayed reluctantly . Contacted our credit card company upon our return home to express total dissatisfaction and requested a refund as this hotel is listed as luxury with air conditioning, and it was denied by the hotel. Ioulios Kort, at The Athens Version Luxury Suites, responded to this review Dear guest. All rooms have self remote controls where you can adjust the temperature the way you like. You could have asked our staff to show you how to do it. You can’t review if you don’t know how to use something. Anyway have a wonderful day

First time in Athens, collecting special memories

    rating11 Nov 2025

Greetings to all. I give this place five stars mostly because of the people and because of our overall stay during our first trip to Athens. Everything was memorable from our ride to the location dropped off by our driver named Stelios, to the day when we left, driven by a man who said “I have no muscles but I can tell you everything there is to know about Athens. My name is Hercules!” 😂 Now for the hotel. We stayed at the Athens Edition Luxury Suites. It was quite an adventure trying to find the place. When Stelios dropped us off, the area was filled with a lot of people, a lot of traffic and beautiful music coming from a restaurant in front. It was a restaurant that I should’ve paid closer attention to but at the time I had no idea. Plus, Greek writing is very new to me. Nevertheless, Stelios pointed and said, “somewhere in there is the hotel.” We were clueless as to where. Eventually we would learn that we walked past the entrance several times. I ran into many very kind strangers who all unfortunately gave me the wrong information so following their directions, we walked pretty far, me carrying two pieces of luggage while my wife struggled, feeling tired after all night travel coming from Los Angeles, California. We ended up at a cafe to rest and grab espressos. I asked for help there. The waiter asked me if I had google maps. I had forgotten that I did. He found the hotel on the map. So, I set off on my own while my wife continued to rest. The Google maps took me right back to the very same spot that Stelios dropped us off at. I asked one more person and they pointed at the door, which is on the side of the restaurant with the beautiful music. Perhaps the main issue on that day was that there was a very large awning, hanging down so low I had to bend over to go underneath. This awning covered the large sign that read, Athens Edition Luxury Suites. Had that awning not been there at the time, it would’ve been easy to see/find the hotel entrance. Not a complaint but this was the beginning of my time in Athens. I’m grateful for the help of the kind gentleman at the front desk. I believe his name was Regallios? I’m not sure but that’s what it sounded like. He walked around the corner where my wife was with the two pieces of luggage and took them to the hotel. Also, during my struggles to find the hotel, I did speak with one of the owners. I believe the name was Olga. Very kind over the phone and tried to give directions but I had no idea how to explain my location because of my lack of knowledge of the Greek words. But, thanks again to all of the people in that area who smiled and offered assistance. It made being lost a fun experience.Overall, the stay was nice. I noticed among the other reviews, someone spoke very unkind about a certain small room. (Rm-101) I believe we had that room and yes, it is small and perhaps that’s a reflection of the price we paid. It really didn’t bother me too much. My wife and I enjoyed the space. Nice view of the people outside when you pull back the curtains. Yes, you have to press the button for hot water. A minor inconvenience if you consider it inconvenient. We didn’t. It was just a quirk. Part of the experience that you can look back on when you share memories. The locking system is a little tricky and might give a traveler concern. That would be something to check on but again, not a complaint. I really had no idea what type of room I was paying for because we booked an entire package in Greece via Tripmasters and I may have overlooked the room options. I don’t mind. It was good enough for a first time trip. Location was great. There was a restaurant around the corner that Regallios recommended called Savas. We went there twice. Loved the food. The area is filled with so much culture and life. I didn’t find it noisy at all. Not even the music, playing in the restaurant as some have complained about here. I found it a joy along with hearing conversations spoken in Greek. The main reason you travel to places that might be foreign to you is to experience the culture, the people, the sounds or in my case, lots of food! It was great! Probably my one and only complaint would be the two very small, lifeless pillows we had in our room. I think that room deserves to have at least four pillows. 🤣 Special thanks to the beautiful maid. I don’t know her name but she was very helpful to us. Thanks so much… Ioulios Kort, at The Athens Version Luxury Suites, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful review. We are very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope to welcome you back in a future stay. Best regards The Athens Version Team

Very well run, central and clean accomodation+ Location was excellent, Julius and the team were very attentive, contacted us before we travelled to ask if we needed help with transport from the airport. The rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. The shower was lovely. The roof top and it's views were spectacular. Overall I would highly recommend for a visit to Athens.
