  Overall comfortable room.Good location for walking distance to sight seeing places around the Acropolis area.Complimentary breakfast in the lobby area.Expected a better view of Acropolis for the price paid with a view of it.Lack of a Balcony to sit outside on.Unlike the other 4 Hotels we stayed at in Greece, Fridge items were not complimentary, they were charged items.Some room deficiencies, which included a dirty/stained sofa chair, and scuffed walls, etc...

  We paid almost €800 for just two nights and were extremely disappointed with our stay. The room and facilities were in unacceptable condition: • Housekeeping only came every two days, so the bed was not properly made. • The bed had only half a slatted base. • The shower was dirty and clearly not cleaned before our arrival. • The terrace was full of hair from previous guests. • The jacuzzi was unhygienic, with dirt and an oily layer floating in the water. • Doors and windows were smeared with marks from former guests. • The terrace flooring had loose slats, which is dangerous. • The refrigerator door did not close properly. • Several electrical outlets were loose and unsafe.We even spoke directly with the manager about these issues, but instead of taking our complaints seriously, she simply laughed at us. This level of service is shocking and completely unacceptable.For the price we paid, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

  Disappointed by Excessive Street Noise and Poor Customer Service – Would Not ReturnI stayed at this hotel during my visit in July, and unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a major problem: the amount of noise coming from the street made it almost impossible to get a proper night’s sleep.From the moment I arrived, I realized that the hotel is located on an incredibly busy road. Throughout the day and well into the night, there was a constant stream of loud traffic, including cars, buses, and motorcycles revving their engines. But what made it truly unbearable was that even after midnight, the noise barely subsided. Around 2–3 a.m., there were still people shouting, delivery trucks unloading, and occasional sirens passing by.The windows in my room offered little to no sound insulation. I could clearly hear every honk, shout, and engine outside as though it was happening right under my window. I had specifically requested a quiet room when booking because I’m a light sleeper, but the room I was given faced directly onto the street. When I complained at reception the next morning, they politely told me the hotel was fully booked and no room change was possible.I asked if they could at least refund me for the nights I couldn’t sleep or offer a partial compensation. Sadly, the answer was a firm “no.” They explained that since I had booked through an online travel site, they couldn’t process a refund, which I found disappointing. As a guest, it shouldn’t matter how the booking was made – the hotel should take responsibility for the experience they’re selling.It’s really unfortunate, because aside from the noise issue, the hotel itself was acceptable. The room was clean, and the staff at the front desk were polite enough, though ultimately unhelpful. The location would be convenient for sightseeing if it weren’t for the unbearable noise. Breakfast was standard, nothing special, but adequate.I understand that hotels in city centers can’t completely control street noise, but they can invest in better soundproof windows, warn guests ahead of time, or at least make an effort to help when complaints arise. Sadly, this hotel didn’t do any of that.Overall, I left feeling exhausted and frustrated. A hotel stay should leave you rested and refreshed – mine did the opposite. If you’re someone who values a good night’s sleep, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere or at least checking whether the hotel has quiet, courtyard-facing rooms and proper soundproofing before you book.

  Too noisy to sleep in the rooms

  If you dont like sleep, this is the hotel for you! On their website they promise to have sound proof windows. This was not the case and they road was very loud so we had to leave 10 minutes after arrival. They also didnt want to pay us our money back even though the receptionist agreed that it was not sound proof. We made several videos of it so please ask for them and I will send so you can experience the loud noise. just shows they dont care about their guests. Picture of non-sound proof windows.   Very good hotel close to the Acropolis

  Great service - the reception staff were extremely welcoming, and we were given a later checkout straight away at no extra charge - well priced and very well located to visit the Acropolis (about a 7-minute walk away), and the breakfast was delicious. There is traffic noise from the intersection outside, but take earplugs and you'll be fine.
