    Great pit stop

    rating08 Jun 2024

Arrived at 22.15 having travelled from airport to port to a pleasant welcome , I wasn’t expecting much due to 3 stars and cost ! But I would 100% stay here again the staff were very helpful at all times and the air conditioning worked very well too. The rooms are dated but ours 804 was clean the sheets were white as were the fluffy towels.there’s a mini fridge hairdryer soap n shampoo n radio clock The breakfast was basic 2 eggs cereals toast jams cheese ham croissants tea coffee. Very pleasant stay before joining cruise ship 10/10

For very very short stay and tight purse. But there is a bed, some IKEA furniture, bathroom renovated with sliding (with difficulty) door, balcony door resisting to closing, but AirCon, aso. Very nice ‘60 lobby with green marble. Friendly staff.

    Best experience

    rating23 Jan 2023

The best experience in Athens DEFINITELY, I would highly commend the staff, absolutely everyone at the reception especially the manager, the breakfast staff who are always very friendly especially Mrs. Bel, I would highly commend the maids who cleaned and changed the trash, towels every day. The hotel itself is very beautiful, neat, quiet and really all praises. I stayed here for quite some time, which gave me even more insight into their professionalism! The location is more than good, there is a bus right next to the hotel, you can walk to the coast or by bus, besides you have a whole bunch of shops, bars, everything is in one place.

I recommend for small budgets and. short stays.

The room is medium and has a large balcony but don't expect an extraordinary view, it's a view of the buildings in front but that's a detail compare to the comfort of the room.Bad points : 1- The woman care of the breakfast, very unfriendly and absolutely not welcoming she should surely move on to another job because her level of sympathy reaches 0% it's very bad for someone working with people. 2 - The breakfast is a bad point too don't expect something amazing it will be not. 3 - If you like the calm and tranquility it's not for you everyday and every night until 7 am it's nosy.4 - Poor Internet connection if you work and need WiFi I advise you to have your own nomade WiFi. Good points :1- Kind and helpful staff at the reception. 2- Cleanliness, always impeccable room made as soon as we ask the cleaning ladies do a very good job. (Thank you Sylvvana for your work you are the best) 3 - The location of the hotel near all amenities and especially the port. My opinion :The hotel is confy and cheap , ideal for staying a few days but not more than a week. For reasons like very loud noises outside during the night and lack of catering other than breakfast. The breakfast should be improved for the price of 8 euros I have never seen any hotel offer such a poor breakfast provided only in hostel not in hotel.I recommend for small budgets and. short stays.

Excellent stay and a great night's sleep for me (ignore the old and negative reviews!)

    rating13 Jul 2022

Stayed here midweek for four nights (Monday to Thursday) for work in July. I really don't recognise this hotel from the bad reviews on here so can only assume it's under new ownership/management.I had a superior single booked but was given a twin so it was a decent size for one but might have been a little cramped for two people. The room had a balcony but was so high on the 7th floor that I didn't use it as I'm not great with heights. The room also had great air con and thankfully a small fridge. I had four great nights' sleep so the hotel was obviously quiet (although I believe from the students who I was supervising and stayed for a fortnight it can be noisy at weekends). It's not perfect: the tea at breakfast is (like most hotels in Europe) awful, there is not a massive choice of food at breakfast and the rooms don't have a kettle (I would take a travel kettle if you want a tea/coffee as it was an absolute godsend) but overall I was pleasantly surprised as there was little choice of hotels as we booked late. There seemed to be a smell of smoke in my room one night which I can only assume came from the room next door and the advertised roof top terrace was not available as it looked like it was being refurbished. It's not in a great area for tourists but there are plenty of restaurants, takeaways and bakeries within walking distance and the nearby curry house is very good value. The hotel is 10-15 minute walk from the Piraeus metro station and then a further 30 minutes or so to Athens' main attractions so I would allow 45-60 mins to get from the hotel to the touristy bits (I think there are buses that go some/all the way but I never worked this out as the metro seemed easy enough) A special thanks to Mario who got me some fresh milk from the kitchen on the night I arrived late. Also the cleaner was friendly and did a great job and we we were allowed to leave our luggage at reception on the day we left (we had a late flight back)Overall a great stay for what we charged. I would thoroughly recommend and with a couple of minor improvements this could be a great budget option. I might be a bit more critical if it was my own money I had been spending but still I had a really comfortable and peaceful stay.
