    I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. The location is a bit out of the way, but the view is nice. I was surprised by the small ooms. The beds are tiny, they felt kid sized. The walls are thin and you can hear every noise in the hallway. It was enough to keep me up for a while. Ear plugs let me sleep. We were not able to connect to the internet at all. Kept getting weird explanations about our floor having a separate wifi (that we could never find), that only worked if you were in the room...We had the staff come up to help us then we got the "server must be down " explanation. One of us managed to connect for a short time, but on the regular wifi. Made it hard to do work.The staff is nice. The hotel is clean. But you may have to limit your expectations.

    Great seaside hotel not far from Athens

    Greek family run hotel with good customer service, particularly, Lina. She was helpful as a porter and in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. The restaurant overlooked the sea and had beautiful sunsets. The hotel is located across a divided highway. We could see the beach, but I never figured out how to get to the beach. However, many of the hotel residents knew that because they would come to breakfast with beach clothes, towels and swimming rings. The breakfast buffet was great. Our room did have a balcony. We could see the pool and from the side, we could see the sea from the balcony. We had a triple twin beds, we had European plugs by the beds and on the desk. We also had a refrigerator. We had 2 closets and drawers for our clothes. It took us a while to realize that we had to keep a key card in the slot by the door to keep the electricity working. We wondered why the ac wasn’t working-it was because we didn’t have the key card in the slot. The hotel also had a small pool- it was sunny in the morning but shady in the afternoon. The bathroom door was frosted, it would have been nicer if it had been a solid door. The location was by the sea, but not real close to downtown Athens- it was about a €20 taxi ride. We were glad to have stayed at the Tropical Hotel- it gave us a feel for what a Greek hotel was like. However, staff did speak English.

    Very beautiful hotel and close to the sea and to the transportation. Very good breakfast and the stuff is very professional and kind especially in reception, helped me with every question I had. Is also very clean and looking pretty new. I would recommend it 100%.

    The room was clean with amazing view. Breakfast was everyday fresh with big variety nothing missing .The area The staff made our stay lovely professional and always smiling with good advise .Really good connection to the Acropolis and the coast .

    -the stuff were so nice but everything else is horrible! -The street is very loud even when the windows are closed you still hear every motorcycle and car they pass and unable to sleep. - Rooms were so dirty and found a women underwear in the towel on the first day even after asking the room service to clean the room and bathrooms stayed so dirty-the location and neighborhood is in front of the Sea but very bad and unsafe neighborhood and far location.-breakfast is also very cheap
