    Wonderful stay. Will be back!

Great location, great breakfast, great room with a kitchenette. We got in late Monday night. Zoi, the front desk person helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the room and its features. Throughout our stay she helped us with all our needs. Thank you Zoi 😀

Should be 5 stars but not without its problems

    rating12 Oct 2025

Would love to give these apartments 5 / 5 but it was not without its flaws. We had booked the penthouse apartment for our recent 4 night stay in Athens so this review is based on the penthouse experience. First of all the positives. The penthouse is huge 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , kitchen / sitting area which had a big L shaped sofa and separate air conditioning in all the rooms. The kitchen had all the appliances you would need to be self sufficient even had a complimentary bottle of water and fruit bowl on arrival. The balcony is big with a table and 4 chairs and an additional sofa type of lounger. The location was outstanding in the Plaka neighbourhood and 2 blocks from Monasteraki square and a block to the start of Ermou street. Very quiet are even during the day. The staff we encountered where very nice and helpful .Now the negatives. Although the penthouse was big it felt very dated and badly designed and in real need of painting and general repairs. You literally step off the lift at the door so you are half in the lift until you get the room door open. The master bedroom has a small window looking out on to a service yard and the second bedroom looking out on to the rooftop of the neighbouring building so very little natural light in either room. Although it was advertised as 2 bathrooms only 1 had a shower the other bathroom was just a toilet and sink. So you might struggle if there are a family with 1 shower between everyone. The penthouse is directly below the rooftop restaurant so we found it very difficult to sleep before midnight at the earliest with the scraping of chairs , noise and a fridge that seem to run every 10 minutes or so rattling above us. The restaurant also overlooks the balcony so if your trying to sit out in the evening there was one little area under the kitchen window that was somewhat private but the restaurant overlooks the rest of the balcony which is in full view of the diners above. The building is surrounded by other taller buildings so the only view you get from the balcony is the hotel opposite or a view of a small street to your right. The sun struggles to get directly to the balcony so you wont be lying out in it sunbathing The beds are super soft so if you like a firm or hard mattress you will struggle with sleeping although there are plenty of good quality pillows but as i need a firm mattress i ended up sleeping on the sofa in the living room which was very comfortable. As the penthouse is the entire 5th floor you will have to use the lift which is tiny and will only hold 3 people or 2 with bags, although you can use the stairs if you wish but you will need to tell them when checking in as you need a separate key for the door from the stairs. We opted for breakfast and paid for it in advance but after the first morning we ate out the rest of the mornings. Breakfast was a disaster. It was supposed to be a buffet but all they had was scrambled egg with lots of mixed veg through it, some sliced spicy sausage and bacon strips. There was some bread beside the toaster and a few pastries and 2 types of cereal so if your the type of people that like a hearty breakfast to fill you for a days sightseeing then skip breakfast here . All in all we where happy enough with staying here as the location was fantastic but probably wouldn’t return or maybe a room on a lower floor might be better

Charming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Athens

    rating07 Aug 2025

We spent three nights here before our cruise and loved every moment. Our “Deluxe Apartment with Separate Kitchen” was exactly as pictured—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a comfortable king bed, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and even a quaint balcony. The location near Syntagma Square was perfect for exploring on foot; and we found many great restaurants nearby. Breakfast in the quaint, rustic dining room provided a wide range of foods, and dinner at the rooftop Italian restaurant was excellent. Staff were warm and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. A truly charming boutique hotel experience—highly recommended.

A must stay place when in Athens for the accommodations and people on site.Wonderful!!

    rating17 Jun 2025

This was truly one of the best stays we had on our 2.5 week trip. We only where there for two days but the staff at the hotel made us feel so welcome and it felt like home. The apartment was cute, clean and had some fruit and water waiting for us. There was a washing machine in the suite which allowed us to wash some clothes from the cruise we just got off. They stored our luggage while we waited for our rooms to be ready so we could explore around the beautiful neighbourhood. Efi & Zoi were so helpful with everything. Zoi ( not sure if spelling correctly) was so kind offering to have breakfast made for our early departure to the airport on the last morning when we had to leave before the on site restaurant even opened. The wonderful lady who worked in the restaurant ( I apologize as I don't know her name) was amazing! We arrived 10 mins before breakfast was over and she offered to make us whatever we wanted so we had fresh items. She made us some scrambled eggs and was just so welcoming. She even popped her head out at 6:20 am when we were leaving to ensure we didn't want to quickly take something with us and wish us a good trip. Our friends we travelled with also extend their thanks to the wonderful team at V1935! The people everywhere we went were so kind, helpful, happy and fun. We absolutely thank you for your hospitality and kindness Athens! A must stay place when in Athens as it is close to everything, cute neighbourhood, and perfect accommodations. Fabulous!

    Best find of the year!

    rating08 Apr 2025

What a great place!! I had the pleasure of staying here and it was very comfortable having an apartment right in the heart or the action. My company booked me at 5* hotel directly across the street, but I flew in a day earlier and found V1935 and it was the best find of the year! The staff was very friendly and responsive and made things run easily. Unfortunately I only got to spend one night here - and I was exhausted, but honestly wish I was booked here for my entire stay. The apartment was spacious, charming and had everything you would need. The location excellent - I rarely get excited over a hotel, but this one really made the grade. I will 100% stay here next time in Athens - not a doubt!
