  We had a wonderful experience! The staff was all friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the security guard to the restaurant employees. We were upgraded to a suite that was spacious and had a great view of the city. It even had an electric fireplace. We loved our stay and will absolutely stay again.   Significant Step Down – Poor Maintenance and Hygiene Concerns

  ​I usually stay at the Electra Rythm in the city center, but I decided to try the Wyndham Zeus Residence based on recommendations. It was a mistake. These two hotels are not even in the same league. While the room itself looked decent at first glance, the functional flaws made for a very uncomfortable stay.​The Room: Form Over Function​Poor Lighting: There is no direct lighting over the bathroom sinks. If you plan on shaving or applying makeup, do it at your own risk—it’s nearly impossible to see what you’re doing.​The Shower: The stall felt "cheap," narrow, and frankly, unhygienic. To make matters worse, the drainage was blocked, leading to a small flood every time I washed.​Noise & Tech: My room faced the roundabout and was incredibly noisy. As for the air conditioning, you practically need an engineering degree to figure out the controls.​Breakfast: A Health & Quality Concern​The breakfast experience was subpar and raised some red flags regarding food safety:​Food Quality: Scrambled eggs were overcooked and rubbery.​Temperature Control: On Thursday, the butter was sitting in a pool of water; on Friday, it was rock hard. It is clear the cold chain is not being respected, which is a serious concern for any traveler.​Layout: The seating is poorly thought out. Most tables are set for five people, which feels awkward and unwelcoming if you are traveling alone.​The Gym: An Afterthought​The "gym" is essentially a corner of the restaurant. There is no air conditioning in the workout area, and the water dispenser remained empty throughout my stay. It’s clearly not a priority for management.​Verdict​If you are used to the service and quality of the Electra, avoid this property. Between the noise, the drainage issues, and the questionable food handling, it is not worth the price. I will not be returning.   My wife and I were there for seven nights. When we booked in they gave us the wrong room we were shoved into a room in the back court yard on the first floor and were kept awake by the laundry delivery going on through the night. We were meant to be in a Premium room with a City view which they changed us into after I complained about the noise. They moved us to the fifth floor to a much better light filled room and apart from a few faults , extractor bathroom fan and safe batteries needing replacing, it was comfortable and kept clean by the housekeeping.My biggest problem was the breakfast area and food. The chairs had stains from food and looked grubby and the utensils where functional but not teaspoon in sight.For a five star hotel to have the salt and pepper and tomato sauce in packets is unforgivable and tacky. The food itself very average and badly prepared and tasteless.
