  Our time at the Grand Olympian Bay Resort was fantastic. A huge thank you to the helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We also really enjoyed the good food offered during our stay. We would definitely come back!

  The staff at all the bars and at the restaurant were friendly, efficient, and always helpful throughout our stay. The themed evenings at the main bar were enjoyable and created a nice atmosphere. The housekeeping staff were polite and attentive, although the cleaning schedule could be improved.The beach is conveniently located close to both the hotel and the bungalows. The beach bar served good drinks, and the ice cream was excellent. The beach was relatively clean, there were enough sunbeds, and I particularly appreciated the large umbrellas that provided plenty of shade. Although the entrance to the sea is rocky and water shoes are essential, the water was clean and pleasant. I also liked that a staff member regularly collected rubbish from the beach area.We stayed as a group of seven families, and unfortunately the resort did not live up to the standards of a 4-star hotel.Our family had two bungalow rooms, both of which were in poor condition. The furniture was outdated and worn, floor tiles were coming loose, the walls were peeling, the safes in both rooms were broken, there were ants in the rooms, one bed had torn upholstery, a towel holder was missing in one bathroom, the power sockets behind the bedside tables were not working, and some sockets were loose and coming out of the wall. Even more concerning, the fire extinguishers in the bungalow corridors had expired.The food in the main restaurant was repetitive and lacked variety throughout our stay.The green areas around the resort were poorly maintained. There were only three hammocks in the entire complex, and only one was usable, while the other two were torn and left unrepaired. Next to them were two outdoor jacuzzis that were out of service and appeared to have been abandoned for a long time. Even the wooden steps leading to them were broken.For families with children, the lack of an outdoor playground was disappointing. During the day there was a supervised kids' area, but after sunset children had nowhere to play outdoors except on an open grassy area.The only criticism regarding the housekeeping service was the cleaning schedule. Rooms were often cleaned between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM, exactly when many families with young children returned for their afternoon nap.The beach would also benefit from at least one additional outdoor shower.   A perfect, worry-free 10-day vacation

  We chose this hotel by chance, without any recommendations. We spent 10 wonderful days at the hotel without a single complaint. Excellent location, beach, food, hygiene, and complete service at a high level. We will definitely see you again next summer, and all our friends will get a recommendation for this hotel!   TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

  ?? BEWARE – extremely concerning experienceAfter staying at Olympian Bay Grand Resort, I developed numerous bites/skin reactions and became seriously concerned about possible bedbug exposure which was confirmed after going to the hospital.What made the experience worse was the way my complaint was handled. I found the manager extremely dismissive, confrontational and unprofessional when I raised the issue.Most concerningly, the hotel later confirmed to me in writing that my room had undergone thermal pest treatment before my arrival. I asked why this treatment had been necessary and requested the documentation they referred to, but I have still not received a response.The hotel disputes that my symptoms came from the room, and I cannot independently prove their source. I can only describe what happened to me and how my complaint was handled.I incurred substantial costs dealing with the aftermath and, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.?? If you stay here, inspect your room and belongings carefully.   Good value for money

  We went with two babies, and it was really nice stay. There is a lot of natural shade, you can take a walk with kids. We stayed 7 nights and only went once outside of hotel. Food was nice, it is clean, there is a small shop with all necessities.Beach is really nice and clean, pools also. It is good value for money, I recommend. Just don’t expect anything luxury ofcourse.
