  We left early because cash went missing from our room.

  We booked 14 nights at Olympus Thalassea Hotel with our one-year-old daughter, but we left after 11 nights because we no longer felt safe keeping our belongings in the room.After housekeeping had access to our room, cash from a zipped compartment of my travel bag appeared to be missing. At first I blamed myself and did not accuse anyone. Later, after housekeeping had again entered the room, I counted the cash and found that another 40,000 HUF was missing. In total, around 120,000 HUF cash appeared to be missing during our stay.The room was not properly clean when we arrived, and the cleaning during the stay was not thorough. On several occasions it felt like the floor was simply wiped quickly, while hair and dirt remained in the room. Another important detail is that the safe in the room was already closed when we arrived, so we could not use it from the beginning.I reported the missing cash to reception immediately. Dimitra at reception was kind, professional and helpful, and the pool staff member was also genuinely nice. Unfortunately, the owner’s handling of the situation was extremely disappointing. Instead of showing empathy or helping us with the next steps, he was defensive. He asked why I had not used the safe, even though the safe had been closed when we arrived. He also asked why I counted my money so often, which felt dismissive and disrespectful in that situation.When I asked the owner to help us call the police, he refused and told me that I had to handle it myself. We were in a foreign country with a sick one-year-old child, and we expected support, empathy and professional handling of such a serious complaint. Instead, we felt dismissed and unsupported.Because we no longer felt safe staying there, we decided to leave the hotel that same night and drive more than 1,000 km back home. We also asked whether we could receive any refund for the three unused nights, but the owner refused.This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Some staff members were genuinely kind, especially Dimitra and the pool staff member, but the overall experience was ruined by the missing cash, the poor handling of the complaint, the lack of support from the owner, and the feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously.Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. Be extremely careful with your valuables and cash.

  Comfortable hotel with tasty breakfast and helpful staff

  Great hotel with breakfast and pool suitable for families.The reception personnel was very helpful and we were able to check in at midnight into a very clean and comfortable room. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and healthy. The children had fun at the hotel pool and our stay was great. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

  The best hotel in Paralia. New, modern, clean. And the best part was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Not a single bad thing about this hotel. Plenty of space for parking. Close to the beach and the center with many restaurants, and at the same time far enough from the noise and the crowds. Next year if we come again in Paralia will definitely be in Olympus Thalassea.

  Very good hotel. I think in Paralia is one of the best. Very very nice personel. Boutique hotel in real sense of meaning. And again...super people there. Near to all type of atractions. Very good breakfast.

  This is a real boutique hotel, oasis of calm, clean, nice deco but the real « pièce de résistence » of the experience is the staff, very attentive, friendly but in a discrete and elegant manner. I would very gladly visit them again.
