Lovely small and friendly hotel

Lovely small and friendly hotel in a quiet and immaculately kept street. Our room in the hotel was of a good size with modern decor and a spacious balcony out on to the main street, also a seperate bathroom and kitchen with a full sized fridge. Towels and bins were changed daily, bedding once. The hotel is spotless throughout. Breakfast was adequate in the morning with enough choice. There is a small compact lift in the hotel for those finding stairs difficult. Only a five minute walk to the beach and the resort itself which is all on the flat.

A very pleasant experience

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Olympic Beach, staying in this quiet and comfortable apartment hotel, on a self-catering basis.Travelling from Manchester with Jet2, we arrived well after midnight, but the lovely Stelios was there to welcome us and show us to our spacious apartment on the first floor. We were at the front of the building and had a large balcony overlooking the street. It had a large table and chairs for six people. The spacious bedroom had a good wardrobe with room for two people's clothes. It had room on one side to hang long dresses, and there were plenty of matching wooden hangers. The bed was large and comfortable and with the street being quiet at night, we slept very well. If you need the air-conditioning, make sure to close the sliding glass doors. Linen and towels were changed every couple of days and the rooms were serviced every day. The separate kitchen had just about everything necessary, including an electric kettle and a very good fridge/freezer. The only point of criticism was the two hotplate stove, which didn't work very well, not that we used it for much more than boiling an egg or two. The star of the apartment was the magnificent bathroom, which had a superb shower and plenty of hot water.We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked very good, served in a nice room to the side, with seating inside and out. If you wanted the breakfast, you need to order it 24 hours in advance and it costs 10 Euros per person.Our hosts, Stelios and Vasliki were super friendly, spoke excellent English and made our stay very special.We can thoroughly recommend the Ouzas Luxury Hotel.

Stay in potentially decent hotel deteriorates when handling the hotel's booking mistake

We were 5 people traveling, a bunch of light sleepers, snorers and energetic kids. So we were happy to find on the Ouzas hotel website the "executive family apartment with 3 separate bedrooms so everyone could get some sleep and privacy ("double bed in one room , 2 single beds in second room and 2 single beds in the 3rd room"). The problem was, this apartment that we booked via their website doesn't exist. What you get is 1 double bed in one room, and 4 beds in another room, with no "separation" to speak of. So we ended up having rough nights with too many sleepers in one room. When we brought up that legally, this is a "contractual breach" where travelers get 20-25% compensation, the owners tried to gaslight us, saying "this is the 3 bedroom apartment!", complained that we "negotiate prices" and pressed us to decide quickly if we want to move out (there was nothing free in the town at the time).

A Gem with a charming hostess

We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful family owned and operated hotel just few blocks walking distance from a beautiful beach and many restaurants and stores. The Ouzas family is very welcoming, Stelio’s make sure anything we need for our trip was there. He found us a vehicle last minute, gave us recommendations on where to have lunch and things to do. Stelio’s wife Vasiliki is charming, she prepared a family breakfast. Katerina their daughter is always smiling and ready to give you an advice. The room has a large balcony with chairs and a table to enjoy your afternoon coffee. The bedroom or studio as it has absmall kitchen with functional stove, refrigerator and kitchen tools.A very comfortable double bed and a single bed at the side.Breakfast is served at the hotel yard, very large space, breakfast contain by local produce and products, fresh juice and jelly, country bread, fresh eggs and cheese, etc.The hotel, and the rooms are very modern and clean, the Ouzas family really has this beautiful place as a gem. My wife and I we definitely coming back one day.
