  Nice beach but badly managed hotel

  The view from the hotel is great. The beach is fantastic and the sea is perfect for swimming. The area is a bit isolated in terms of shops, restaurants, bars but this is what we were going for!Unfortunately, this is where the good things end. The hotel itself is outdated and old, probably since the 80-90s with everything failing in some way or another. Loose sockets, smelly bathrooms in some of the rooms and old, rusty fridges in the rooms that do not work. The food was generally average to bad, sometimes making us wonder if we were being served old food.Cleaning was patchy, noisy and at anti-social hours.Although some of the staff were genuinely polite and tried to be helpful, there was a clear shortage of employees. Bad management was obvious throughout, making their job extra hard and severely undermining the quality of service.This is not a four star hotel as advertised and it's overpriced for the quality offered.

  On the beach

  We booked one night at Posidon Beach Hotel purely to have a base for our final day, after checking out of our villa at 10am and not flying until nearly midnight. With nowhere to cool off or relax before the journey home, this hotel was a brilliant find!Only 20 minutes from the airport and located right on a long, unspoilt beach, it offered free sunbeds, a lovely sea breeze, and even a pool – which we had entirely to ourselves (perhaps due to the time of year). The beach was peaceful and clean, with a few chilled beach bars dotted along the stretch – perfect for a drink or bite in the sun.Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience made for a relaxed and enjoyable final day. The rooms are fairly basic and the pool menu is quite limited, so I’m not sure we’d choose it for a longer stay, but for a couple of nights or a peaceful break in a quieter area, it’s ideal.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple, affordable beachside stopover near the airport.

  Bad food and loud noises

  Pretty bad stay at this hotel overall, the hotel was located almost in the middle of nowhere. Luckily we rented a car so we had the chance to actually go somewhere. First when we got there, it took about 45 minutes overtime to wait for our room to be cleaned. The hotel rooms are outdated, shower is very small. Awfully loud too, the door does not keep any noises out. Woke up many times when somebodys child was screaming and people were slamming their doors. The balcony smelled like a boiler room for some reason.The only good thing was the mini fridge and air conditioning. We only ate breakfast once at the hotel because it was not great, the juice tasted strange. The food at the hotel is not good, we had four meals in total and I could not take more than a few bites from my caesar salad. It was the worst salad i have ever tasted. Also had a horrible pasta, and my partner got raw fries. Also the restaurant staff was not very friendly or welcoming. The hotel does not have any information anywhere on when the breakfast starts or finishes, or any of the other schedules. We had to ask for a piece of paper with the times written on it.

  The personnel is fantastic. We had a great stay, for us two nights were perfect. It is a soft and beautiful area. The hotel is clean, has great food and a nice pool area with a lot of pool toys. There is a mini market 200 m from the hotel. And if you take a walk on the beach - go to the right (much softer sand and better walk angel - not so steep). We did not try the service - massage etc

  The hotel has its own beach with seats and umbrellas and also pools for adults and children.The breakfast in the morning is always fresh and delicious, salty and sweet food, teas, juices, coffee, cereals.In the evening we had dinner every day at hotel’s restaurant and each time the food was freshly cooked and amazing, the portions very large and taste amazing!The hotel is clean, stuff is friendly and I felt amazing here during our holiday, I’m sorry I can’t stay longer.Really amazing stay here and the prices are very good!
