  * Our final stop on our one-week trip to Greece was the Ramada Dedeağaç, a hotel particularly favoured by Turkish families who come to Dedeağaç for shopping at the weekend. This is evident from the number plates of the cars parked in the hotel car park and the guests having breakfast in the breakfast room. The hotel is very nice. The dining rooms, staff and hotel rooms are very nice. Its location right on the beach, with a pool between the hotel and the sea, and a poolside bar, makes it a great option for guests visiting, especially in the summer months. Even though we stayed at the hotel in December, one would want to come here in the summer. I definitely recommend it.

  I had a truly fabulous experience staying at this hotel. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with picturesque views that made the whole trip feel serene and refreshing. The atmosphere was so tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. My room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to get a great night's sleep. The location was easily accessible, which made traveling around simple and stress-free. Most importantly, the staff were extremely polite and always ready to help with a smile, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and exceptional service.

  Best hotel in alexandroupoli, thanks to person without kitchen manager standing during to breakfast, plates were wet in the breakfast and pancakes were micro size, coffee was good. WiFi was not working properly, the room was great seaview and clean.

  MIDDLING TO GOOD FIVE STAR BEACH HOTEL WITH GOOD POTENTIAL AND ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENThe experience I had staying in this 25 year old beach hotel was mixed. The building (with a capacity of 149 rooms , circa 400 bed) located circa 20-30 minutes away by taxi and 50 minutes away by bus from the airport (bus stop very close to it), with a narrow sandy beach, with an almost olympic-size great out-door swimming pool next to lawn grounds, very quiet spacious rooms, spacious high ceiling lobby, mildly tasteful decorated bar and restaurant areas, with beautiful sea view certainly makes a very good impression. It has, among others: three good sized, well equipped congress/conference rooms, a hairdresser barber shop, art shop and an elementary, round the clock open business centre (a room with one landline pc, but not a printer - reception desk staff receiving docs and printing them). The very advanced technology spa therapy and services including medical aesthetics offered, in a spacious spa area, but also in a bookable private suite (thalassotherapy, hydrotherapy, hydro massage in three large swimming pools with different types of water (chlorine, sea wate - one with "beds" and one with "bicycles" in the water) many types of different facials, different types of massage, body treatments, sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, solarium,”caldorium” (for prewarming the body), different types of side showers (mist, whole body from top to bottom) are one of the strong suits of the hotel. Unfortunately, during my stay, all three spa swimming pools were out of order! The quality of the really delicious dishes of the restaurant menu is excellent. Buffet lunch and dinner are average and as expected from a five-star hotel in terms of quality, but few dishes were really outstanding. Buffet breakfast is varied and above average: It includes, among many other items, low fat yogurt, low fat milk, but not low fat ham, or high fibre content cereals. Most Hotel reception staff were courteous (I am singling out Sofia). My room had a very nice sea and lawn view, was clean, spacious, with good lighting, heating and quiet air conditioning, and good reception of many Greek and international tv channels and a spacious balcony. Quality of linen, matrass, pillows and nap of towels was good. Toiletries were of good enough quality. There was an iron bar and an iron and a kettle with coffee and tea available in the room. Armchair and chair in it were rather basic for a five- star hotel. Clothes closets were spacious, also for long stays. Hotel Reception staff were very courteous and efficient (I am singling out Sofia among them). Bell boy Alexander was also polite and efficient. House-keeping staff were polite and efficient. There is a luggage room that can be used free of charge.Despite the above, overall positive assets, there were several aspects of my staying at this hotel I was not amused with: On arrival at the restaurant, in the evening, 25 minutes before buffet closing time, there was no fish or meat dish available at the buffet counter (except grilled sausages). Almost all restaurant reception staff, waitresses and waiters, were very polite and efficient (am singling out Stella, Pelin and Maria), but two of them were rude to me: one when I once mistakenly thought and told her that a tray with a certain item of food was removed from the buffet counter and the other one when I arrived at the restaurant to have breakfast in the nick of time before closing time. In my room: the handle at the wall at the side of the bathtub, was unhinged from the wall, when I tried to use it to safely get into the bathtub safely. Fortunately, I did not injure myself. Receptionist I reported it to, after checking out, told me “these things may happen”, instead of saying that he was sorry. The door of the safe in my room could not be opened one evening, and I had to wait until the following morning for it to be fixed by a member of the maintenance staff was again on duty. There was no front hall, after opening the thin door and before entering the room, and people talking in the corridor (for example a high school teacher reprimanding some school pupils for not going to sleep, so that they could wake up in time to check out early next morning), could (clearly and for a long time) be heard by me at 4:00 am, while I was trying to sleep. There was no bathrobe or slippers in the room when I checked in and I had to ask for them to be brought to me. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom. There was no fridge in the room, but just a small (50cmX30cmX30cm) “cool box” (with temperature that certainly was not lower than 7-8 degrees centigrade), were some small bottles of drinks, refreshments and water were kept taking up all he space in it, and thus there was not enough room for one to also put e.g. one’s medicines in it. Although St Valentine’s day had long been over, over a month ago, I found a heart shaped stale, foiled wrapped piece of chocolate in the clothes closet (and gave it to a member of house-keeping staff to take it away when she brought me the bath robe and sleepers). I had an acceptable stay in this hotel. All in all, if there is more attention paid to several aspects of this hotel, one may well have quite a good time staying in it.

  The entire hotel is outdated, which is noticeable both in appearance and smell upon entering. I especially disliked the old bathroom, which made showering less enjoyable. However, the free fruit and water in the room were a nice gesture.In my opinion, breakfast was below average, with a poor selection. During breakfast, the staff spent more time chatting with each other than assisting guests. Additionally, there was a particularly arrogant woman at reception. I found the overall level of unprofessionalism surprising.This is an average 3-star hotel with a staff that could benefit from customer service training.
