    Excellent choice if you want to have a great holiday at the beach. The sea is close to you, and the whole area is nicely built. The manager is very friendly and helpful too. She even helps you return your things If you manage to leave it behind.

    This is the perfect place for families who want to avoid the plastic tat and the “nightlife” of the busy Corfu resorts. With direct access onto a quiet clean beach we really couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our ground floor apartment was well equipped and obviously well maintained. The only negative was that the aircon in the main bedroom was directly over the bed and I was often either freezing or my husband (on the other side of the bed) was roasting. The block has beautiful gardens, plenty of sun beds and parasols to use on the beach and a cupboard full of beach toys for guests to borrow. We definitely made use of the floats and the body boards. It is quite a way to the nearest market, especially in the heat of the summer and the public transport can be a bit haphazard so if you want to explore more of the island I’d recommend hiring a car. There are some excellent tavernas and a couple of beach bars within walking distance though.

    Just back from the akti anastasia after a relaxing holiday.Great location on a sandy shingle beach.suitable for families and people wanting to chill.Hired a car for easy town access.staff friendly with always a smile.Accomadation comfortable and well equipped.Will certainly return.Thank you for a great holiday.

    We just had a lovely holiday staying at the Akti Anastasia. The standard of cleanliness could not have been higher. The grounds are kept by Sabine's team to a very high standard and we were pleased to sit around in these and the immediate access to a lovely beach. We had chosen to not hire a car and relied on walking/local buses. This generally worked out well with Taverna's within a few minutes walk. It may be an idea to hire a car/moped to investigate the local areas and just to pop into the shops in Avarachi. We particularly liked the fact that was the quiet area of the bay and the time we went it was lovely and peaceful. Couldn't fault our stay.

    We were amazed at the size of our 2 bedroom apartment and the size of the sea facing balcony. It was West facing with glorious sunsets. The beach was 20m away with free sunbeds. Beds were comfy and kitchen equipment adequate. It was kept spotlessly clean and sheets and towels changed regularly. The shower pressure was high and sometimes too hot! We didn't have a car as we like walking, but the nearest supermarket was 15 min away so this could be an issue for some. It was about a 20 minute walk along the beach to Arachavi and lots of walks to do in the locality. If you don't like walking rent a car, but we were fine walking and using the local buses
