Location

The holiday complex is situated in an extraordinarily beautiful landscape, set right above a ravine with a heavenly view out over the sea, on the sunny west coast of Corfu. The distance to the next village is approximately 1.5 km and it is some 17 km to Corfu Town and the nearest airport. Both destinations may be reached by public bus service.

Facility

This resort has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, golf and horse riding. With canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Third-party operators offer paddle boating. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, billiards, darts, yoga and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, live music, a dance club and a casino.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Relaxing spa

    I had 2 massages at the Aegeo Spa, both with the lovely Glykeria.I had a back, neck and scalp massage and then a leg one as I had discount from when I had my first massage. This was such a relaxing experience, Glykeria was so polite and friendly and made me feel comfortable. It made me want more. Thank you again. Highly recommend if you are coming to this hotel.

    This is our third trip here, two times with my mum and another with my father and brother. One of the main reasons we come back is due to the friendly atmosphere, good food and beautiful views. The resort is remote but easy to hire a car and the bus goes daily to Corfu town from the hotel for £15 return. You can also hire boats on the beach which is a must. The main restaurant is set out out so you can admire the views especially the beautiful sunsets. You are greeted by friendly smiling staff especially Konstantine and Eleni. The food is greatly improved since our last visit back in September, great selection and I love all the puddings. The entertainment at night is also a highlight. We did have an issue with our room, some banging and drainage issue but spoke to guest relations Constantine (Borat) and they dealt quickly with our concerns

    Firstly let me start by saying completely ignore all of the bad reviews on here. I read them before coming to this amazing hotel and it worried me to death as it was our honeymoon. The whole holiday was amazing, we stayed for a week and returned back home yesterday. The views are stunning. The pool is lovely and there are lots of sunbeds no rushing to get them in the morning as there were always plenty. We had a private pool and it was spotless, we used this every day and was a god send when we wanted to just chill on our own.The food was amazing definitely a 5 star ,there was a different theme every night and the variety of food was great. The snacks at the pool bar throughout the day were also varied! All of the staff were excellent and they were very attentive, you didn’t have massive waits which some people are making out, the longest we had to wait for a cup of coffee was probably 10 mins which I think is more than acceptable as there is so many guests. We couldn’t fault any of the staff! The bar staff were also amazing and the cocktails were to die for! No premixed rubbish that you usually get at the all inclusive. Checking in wasn’t half as bad as people had made it out to be we were checked in really quickly and got on with our day. The funicular was a great addition to the hotel and we loved the little rides up and down from the beach. It is unfortunate that it wasn’t working on some individuals holiday however there was the gold buggy’s that take you to and from so that shouldn’t really be a downfall in anyone’s review. Overall we had an amazing stay and we will 100% be back in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to have our honeymoon at. Thank you all at grand med!

    Fantastic hotel, really chilled vibes, stunning view and the staff were great. Highlight was the Italian restaurant, a real shame it’s not on the all inclusive package (the hotel should consider adding it!). It was our best meal from the service to the chef.
