    Beautiful views!

    rating27 May 2026

This is possibly the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The steep hills are definitely worth the views!Rooms are basic, and the all inclusive drinks aren't the best. But the service is fab, especially up at the pool bar, and the food is nice. My two little boys were poorly for a few days and all staff were very attentive. We'd definitely like to come back here.A few helpful things to know:Sunbeds on the beach are €10 for 2 if you're staying at the hotel. Make sure you show your wrist bandBeach is pebbles, you'll need beach shoesThe hotel mini bus can take you up the steep hill to the village. There are some nice restaurants and bars up the hill, plus a few supermarkets.

A nice view cannot save everything !!!

    rating23 May 2026

We were misled by the positive reviews and unfortunately ended up very disappointed. We spend a lot of money only to stay in a dirty room, so do not expect proper housekeeping servise. The cleaning standards were far below what you expect from a hotel like this. The food was also below average, and many times we prefered eating outside the hotel instead. The staff seemed inexperienced and clearly not well trained.Maybe the owners rely too much on the beautiful view but, unfortunately a nice view is simply not enough!

    Lots of room for improvement

    rating22 May 2026

Here is my honest review about the blue princess hotel resort liapades, Corfu. We arrived late at night, staff were welcoming when we got there and we had an escort up to our hotel rooms- we had read previous reviews about it being quite steep and hilly but didn’t expect it to be as steep as it was so definitely keep that in mind when booking. For the elderly and disabled, this hotel would probably not be the best option for you.Got to our room and was given the key but the key would not work for our room so we wasn’t able to go straight to bed after a long day of travelling, had to wait about 10minutes for them to resolve this issue. They did bring another key which worked but to lock the door you had to do it a certain way we figured out, also in a way that you don’t get the key stuck in the door. There were stains on the bedding when we arrived, even when the bed was changed there was still stains on new bedding in different spots. We wanted to put the air conditioning on but batteries were not in the remote, same for the tv remote no batteries. Luckily it wasn’t the warmest during the night so thankfully didn’t need the air con but it probably would’ve helped with the amount of bugs that are around with it being a tropical island. That point sounds picky but as a 4* hotel you wouldn’t expect these small details to be missed. In the rooms that we had, the bathroom shower would flood the room if you didn’t point the shower at the wall. Bathroom door was misted glass which I wasn’t keen on as it lacks privacy. Shower gel and hand soap is provided. Double rooms only had one single pillow per person, there was an extra one in the wardrobe but ideally 2 pillows per person should be provided as standard. There wasn’t a thick blanket as back up incase you had a cold night so it was a bit chilly when we had days/nights of rain/ colder weather. Our balcony didn’t come with a drying rack for any clothes or towels, I definitely saw these on some balcony’s/back area of other hotel rooms. Rooms were cleaned every other day, the maids would come at any time during the morning sometimes earlier than other days but they were always happy to come back later if we hadn’t left the room yet. The room did come with a fridge which came in handy for any drinks we bought from the local shop which was a 5-10 minute walk up a steep hill. They have a wide variety of products available. Much preferred this shop to the one which is further up the hill. We did sleep well during our stay though sometimes we were woken up by animals crawling in the roof space- still haven’t a clue what these animals were but they would scurry about and squeal in the early hours which got annoying. Walls are extremely thin, we did have some noisy neighbours a couple of nights, it sounded like they were in the same room as us it was that clear the sound. The pools were cleaned daily and checks were done. We had a sea & pool view from our room which was very nice to see. Pool times are 10am-6pm pretty standard.A few more let downs were the fact you had to pay for any beach beds for the day, this is not included with the hotel. Usually this comes with the hotel and you do not have to pay any extra. We had looked at the bar menu and saw that cocktails were only on from 8pm-11pm i think it was. If you did want a cocktail during the day you had to pay for this at the Poseidon bar which is the nearest bar to the beach- all drinks at that bar you had to pay for and you are not allowed to just sit there and not buy a drink. This means less seating for the people staying at the hotel even though they are literally connected to each other. Please note also that Poseidon’s sold Coca Cola/juices which were the same as the all inclusive provided, so even though you’re paying to have drinks there, the quality is the same as the all inclusive. Really cheap. We noticed this because we decided to get Gyros at Poseidon and they had an offer on €5 for Gyros and a drink and the Coca Cola was watered down rubbish. Gyros was amazing though so the deal is definitely worth it. Just not for the drink. Midway through the holiday the bar at the pool opened up (up the top of the steep hill) and the server there was really friendly said hello to us all the time. You were able to get cocktails from this bar at any time which was great as we thought the 8pm-10pm rule applied everywhere. Cocktail hour at the main bar is obviously put in place so that they can make as much money as possible. There was a few times I went to the pool bar and certain drinks weren’t available due to the machine playing up- the server was very apologetic about this and I could tell he was frustrated about it as every time I asked for a drink he said it’s not working. Not his fault it’s the management of the hotel which needs to update the machine or fix the existing machines. Definitely worth walking up the steep hill to this bar if you want to avoid paying any extra for cocktails. In the all inclusive restaurant, hot drinks, juices, and spirits were available (brandy, cognac, vodka, rum, oozu) wine, beer.Definitely bring a water bottle with you that you can refill during your stay there. Maybe even a few bottles depending on what room you are staying in. We always filled up multiple bottles to save trekking up the steep hill all the time.Drinks were very cheap quality not proper Coca Cola, orange juice tasted like squash so very cheaply run is what I gathered from our stay.Food however was extremely tasty, there is a wide range of options available for you to choose from. Not everything is labelled though so sometimes it was a lucky guess as to what meat you were eating. I think having the food labelled would equal to less food waste, one lunch time we got what we thought was beef it was actually liver so we all wasted it as we did not eat liver. Throughout the week there were the same dishes on rotation but like I said plenty of choice and also fresh salads/bread/soup.Staff were very attentive and friendly. My partner wasn’t feeling very well during our evening meal and one of the younger staff members asked if he was ok as she could tell he wasn’t feeling well. There was no entertainment in the evenings at the time of us going, I’m not sure if entertainment is something they do more at peak times? Still disappointing as you were confined to the hotel in the evenings unless you wanted to trek elsewhere.First impressions I would say the hotel is not 4* standard, it’s a 3* maximum. Maybe once a upon a time the place was thriving but it definitely has room for improvement especially comparing it to a few other 4*s we’ve stayed at, this missed the mark. There’s been a lot of corners cut with certain things to save money, and to also make more money off the people staying there. Making as much money as possible but not putting any money into the place. I hope the hotel sees this as I’ve tried to give constructive feedback- all the points I have outlined are things that are possible to change. Especially when they are expanding. I do think with these improvements people would be happy to pay a little bit more maybe? just having certain things included in everything. Higher standards would make such a difference. We would definitely stay again if it was improved as it is in a prime location, we got to see a lot of Corfu. Uber is available in the area and there is also a bus service to Corfu town and palaiokastritsa. A free shuttle service to the bus stop at 9am in a morning for you to catch the bus so you don’t have to walk up the hill through the liapades. It was one of the easier islands to get around transportation wise.We still had an amazing time in Corfu, I would 100% go back to Corfu, possibly in this hotel again if the improvements were made. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt more inclined to do one especially when I can see so much potential in the hotel. I want them to succeed and do well and feedback is the only way you can see what is missing. If you got this far- thanks for reading!

    Relaxed, refreshed & peaceful.

Booked The Blue Proncess as looked lovely & peaceful, and needed a nice break from work for my Birthday. I Travelled with my Sister 13th May to 22nd of May so early season. On arrival was greeted by a lovely lady and we went for food, then were assisted with bags to our room.We stayed in Room 17 which had a fabulous view of the beach & sea, the balcony is spacious & a real suntrap. Spacious room with a double & single bed. The double was so comfortable & I slept well.Staff were lovely and Linda was fabulous and kept our room nice & clean daily. The food from breakfast, lunch & dinner is a vast choice for all tastes & I felt very spoiled for choice as there was so much to choose. All the meals I had were gorgeous. My sister loved the sweets/puddings , which I had on the last evening & were lovely. The pool area is nice with further wonderful views. The drinks available were good, from coffee to cocktails. The only thing that would've improved our stay would be having tea/coffee making facilities already in the room on arrival, but a kettle, cups etc was requested and brought up by Linda. The bathroom would benefit from a new mirror and tap but all worked and the shower was spot on to freshen up.We asked at reception for any needs which were met, and to book a Taxi to Corfu Town which was no problem at all. Water bottles in the mini fridge would also be useful.Overall, I found it the most lovely, freindly & peaceful place which is exactly what I was looking for to spend my birthday & time away from home & work. The surrounding plants are FABULOUS! I'm so jealous & would love many in my garden which sadly wouldn't likely survive in UK Re oleander, Azalea, huge succulents. The plant life is matched by the lovely insects, and creatures I saw, which is expected in a lush remote area. Sadly i couldnt adopt the lizard, cats etc i saw 😂The birds & singing is music to the ears. I sat watching the stars & Bats on some peaceful late evenings. I would happily stay here again as a sole traveller or with family/friends as its safe, beautiful, friendly and the most relaxing place. Thankyou to all the staff, you've a busy & tough job & you smashed it. Hopefully see you all again Big hugs to all Fiona X
