    Just spent a wonderful few days at the Blue SeaWelcoming friendly staff (all of them!!)Beautiful pool for a cool down All areas clean and pretty Clean modern room with balcony - plenty of HOT waterRoom tidied and fresh towels every day (I was there 5 nights I Only had 1 meal there - which was superb and great value Nice chilled vibeClose to beach, supermarkets and bars/restaurants Only thing could have made it better would be a kettle and cups in rooms for a tea/coffee (but wouldn’t remove a ⭐ that’s personal choiceThere is a good sized fridge though Well done Blue Sea - already dreaming of my return visit 🥰Cannot wait to return Ioannis Koulouris, General Manager at Blue Sea Hotel, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay with us at Blue Sea.     I love this place! The staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The food is fresh and tasty.Excellent restaurants and bars only a few minutes walk away.     A very disappointed guest

    Came back after staying 6 years ago after a enjoyable stay . Very disappointed this time I booked a room 3 months in advance as I’m disabled and needed ground floor accommodation . We are a elderly couple and was given a family room with three old pine single beds . 2 pushed together , very uncomfortable hard mattresses . Furniture very mismatched . We asked for a kettle as rooms should be equipped with one, and given a tiny travel kettle which was only enough for one drink at a time . No where to stand it safely as the tiny fridge stood on a old table , so the cable from the top of the fridge wasn’t long enough to reach the power socket which was the one for the fridge . This had to be pulled out every time the kettle was put on . There was a old padded stool which acted as a kettle table . Not really safe !! The only other two sockets in the room were placed over beds , to high for cables to reach . We bear in mind it’s only a 2 star rating , but the concerns I’ve highlighted we feel are important as they are about the safety aspects, and are classed as a basic need . Photographs will be included in my review . The cafe had closed for this year which surprised us as it served some tasty meals & lovely pizzas etc . It wasn’t stated being closed in our booking which meant they only had a buffet section in the evening , which was more or less the same thing & didn’t cater for a vegetarian option . We found other restaurants who catered to our needs but some staying at the hotel payed half board so would want to have what they’d payed for . Also a wedding reception held one night & some guests who were having the buffet meal wasn’t told they had to eat early .     I rated this hotel 3 stars because, although the staff are friendly and the location in a quiet area is nice, the room was quite basic and in dire need of modernisation. The pool and bar are just adequate, and the room was uncomfortable for sleeping due to poor-quality mattresses, making rest difficult. Internet connectivity was unreliable, which could be frustrating for guests needing a stable connection. Additionally, cleanliness was lacking, as the cleaner failed to remove dead mosquitos on the bathroom walls left by a previous occupant of our room. For a better stay, consider investing a bit more for higher-quality accommodation elsewhere in town or nearby.     We are there now and we have had a great time to date. We had a problem the other day and Petros came to the rescue and helped us out without hesitation. You can not find this service just anywhere, they give above and deyond.
