  Oasis of tranquility

  Little oasis within easy reach of airport and town. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We were in a one bedroom studio in the new block which was lovely. Maids are in all the time and it was spotless. There is a series of fish ponds that you look onto from your terrace. It’s beautiful but my wife gets bitten by all manner of bugs so was wasted on us as we couldn’t sit out. We came late October so the pool bar is closed. Doesn’t get used and on the odd occasion we sat there we had it to ourselves. We hired a car which let us explore the island so we were out most days. Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Would definitely return here.

  Folies appartments

  Although a quiet time of year our time at the apartments was lovely the reception staff were very helpful the ladies who cleaned our room were always smiling the apartments are about a half hour walk away from the town but also buses outside near the local bakery.The studio we had was enormous very clean and modern thanks again x

  V disappointing balcony

  Appartment is fine but not very well equipped. Bare minimum of crockery and Cutlery. Main disappointment is the balcony, which has such a high wall in front of it you can only see concrete while sitting down. Staff not very helpful in trying to change the room. We're here for a week..surely something can be done

  We recently stayed at Folies Corfu and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.The location itself is good, but parking is a real issue. There is very limited space, and despite traveling with babies, no priority was given to families. One day we were told not to park in a certain spot, yet the next day another guest was allowed to park there. At one point we were even asked to park in a field away from our apartment, which was extremely inconvenient as we had to carry our babies who were asleep to the room – unacceptable for a family-friendly accommodation.The rooms were old and in need of renovation. The bathroom was particularly problematic, with water that was either freezing cold or boiling hot, making it impossible to enjoy a proper shower. Cleanliness was also below standard – the bathroom had stone and grime that made it unpleasant to use. While the cleaning staff were polite, the standard of cleaning was not good.Another major issue was the lack of pest control. There were a lot of mosquitos on the property, and unfortunately our daughter was bitten and developed a reaction that required cortisone cream and antihistamine medication.When we arrived late at night, we were greeted by Alexandra, a very polite young lady, but clearly untrained. She was unable to answer our questions, and we later learned she was new. It felt like she was placed there just so the hotel could say they had a 24/7 reception, which was not efficient at all.This hotel has potential, but it is obvious the owners are not willing to invest in proper maintenance, training, or facilities. It feels like the priority is simply to fill rooms and make money, rather than provide a quality experience. A real pity, because with some investment and care, Folies Corfu could be a great place to stay.

  Relaxing oasis just 10mins away from Corfu town. Highly recommend.

  My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Folies apartments. The garden pool area was beautiful, well maintained and very relaxing. We were lucky enough to have a large bungalow with kitchen and a terrace which overlooked the pool. The apartments were well maintained and all the reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. We chose Folies as it had an excellent bus service to Corfu town only 10mins away, but we also wanted a pool and a green space for relaxing. We found it the perfect combination for our trip. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
