    Beautiful location but too quiet

    rating28 May 2026

We stayed here for 4 nights as a group of friends and enjoyed our stay however probably wouldn’t return. Positives:- A very good hotel for ultimate relaxation with the pool and beach being very accessible and a stones throw away. - Plenty of access to sun loungers. - Location; not too far from the airport and some nice bars along the beach which you can walk to. - Staff were very friendly and attentive. - Rooms were cleaned in a timely manner everyday and quite spacious. - Breakfast had a wide variety of foods (although often catered for Germans - see below). Negatives:- VERY quiet - no entertainment during the day and the evening was not as described which meant the hotel lacks overall atmosphere. We tried to have drinks on our balcony one evening (no music) and were told by a neighbour to be quiet at 11pm. - Drinks are VERY expensive. The hotel is missing a trick; every night the bar was virtually empty presumably because it’s too expensive (€18 for 4 200ml soft drinks, €3.50 for a bottle of water!) - Older demographic (not necessarily a negative but we are in our late 20s and so sometimes felt a bit out of place). - Dinner options were very limited and often catered to Germans as mentioned. Lack of traditional Greek foods (e.g. gyros / souvlaki). Overall we enjoyed our 4-night stay but wouldn’t have stayed any longer. The weather was perfect and we were able to relax but probably wouldn’t return.

A great 2 weeks in a beautiful location

    rating28 May 2026

Our 2 weeks at the Delfinia have been amazing. The staff go out of their way to be friendly. The hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. The gardens are peaceful. The food is good and plentiful. The dining room staff are amazing, big thanks to Alexandra and Angelikka. We travelled with my sister in a wheelchair and our table was reserved at each meal. The room (104) was a bit on small side but we had requested a ground floor with a pool view which was accommodated. The room service was daily and room and bathroom were immaculate. This is our second visit and was just as good as the first. Dining room access has changed with a long steep ramp or a staircase but we managed. The pool was amazing but some more chairs should be made available. I have difficulty getting up from a sun bed so prefer to sit on a chair. My husband brought one from the bar area and was challenged by a staff member who didn’t understand the need for a chair at the pool. The local village is worth a visit with small tavernas and a few shops. The beach is pebbly and not ideal for those with walking difficulties.

We had a wonderful stay at Delfinia Resort Hotel and can truly recommend this hotel to everyone — families with children, older guests, and couples alike. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day without any issues. Special thanks to Blesilda & Richele for their great work and kindness. The food was absolutely delicious, and all the chefs were very friendly. We especially remember one lovely lady chef who was always smiling and welcoming guests at the front of the restaurant. The bar manager was always helpful and ready to assist with anything. The animation team was amazing ❤️Marketà— we had so much fun and felt like children again! The girls in the hotel shop were fantastic as well, especially Eleonora Maria.❤️A special thank you to Asia ❤️at the reception desk for always being so helpful and cheerful. And finally, the cherry on top — General Manager Antonios. He is a very pleasant person who truly knows how to talk with guests. You can clearly see that he cares not only about the guests, but also about his staff. The hotel also offers residences and villas, which is a great option depending on your needs. We will definitely come back again!Warm greetings to the entire staff and thank you for making our holiday so special.Renata Andrew Dobies

    Excellent but smoking area

    rating25 May 2026

Great accommodation. Good value for money. The staff really make the hotel, and they’re the main reason for the many returning guests. The front desk is always ready to help, and the housekeeping is good. Half-board is a must because there are no restaurants or other dining options in the immediate area; the nearest place to eat is a good 10-minute walk away. Breakfast and dinner are adequate; there’s something for everyone, even picky eaters. I really appreciate that the cuisine is Mediterranean, with plenty of vegetables and meat. There could be more Greek dishes! There is one very glaring flaw in this hotel: guests are allowed to smoke under the beach umbrellas right in your face! I strongly object to this! EU law states that smoking is only permitted in designated areas in public spaces and service establishments! Vacationers pay a fortune for the healthy sea air to heal, and what do I get? To inhale the smoke exhaled by the smoker lying next to me all day long! Why! Why do I have to put up with this? I have a right to fresh air! The hotel management needs to change this. This isn’t right, and it bothers most guests! You can’t smoke in the restaurant or on the terrace, so why is the beach an exception? And then, of course, the beach is littered with cigarette butts everywhere—it’s disgusting!

    Nightmare for disabled people

    rating30 Sept 2025

We both loved this hotel and this is our 4th year, but we were sorely disappointed because the lift from the ground floor had been taken out and a flower bed put in its place , the only way up was via steep steps , the first step off the road was so steep we had to hang on a giant plant pot to get up , at the top there were no handrails , you could then take a lift for one floor to the dining room , as we are disabled it was a nightmare , there is also a ramp which is very very long and uphill , this will be our last trip to this lovely hotel
