Dissapointing. In any case, avoid Corfu airport like the plague. Corfu doesn't deserve its tourists.

The culinary experience was massively disappointing. There are only 2 a la cartes for the evening (Greek and Seaside Grill) open only 5 times in the week and virtually impossible to reserve. Many, many guests were overheard complaing (as I did) that they hadn't managed to get a reservation their best efforts. The buffet food is reasonable but not 5 star. Wine by the glass is Greek white, Greek red, or Greek Rose -- none of it bad but not to everyone's taste and getting someone to serve a second glass was sometimes difficult.Entertainment (what I saw) was quite good (cancelled for the football one night) but many parents with young children are oblivious to the fact that some people in the audience would rather watch the entertainment (nowhere near enough seating) rather than watch their 2-year old dancing in front of the stage or hear their 3-year old wailing.Grounds are nice (mostly). One big unheated pool (rather cold but it least it didn't then get too crowded). The other pool is too small and actually uncomfortably warm.

OK but definitely not 5* standard.

Just returned from a 7 night stay and this is sadly not a 5* hotel. Only 2 a la carte restaurants and virtually impossible to book in for either. You are expected to booked at 12.01am and the app didnt work. Only after formally complaining to the manager did we get a booking. The buffet is fine but there are not enough staff so plates were often left uncleared. Entertainment was ok but again, the seating area was quite small and drinks were all served in plastic tumblers. All a bit basic. Room was nice and housekeeping did a good job. Bonus was that loungers remained available until well after 9am! Not a bad hotel but definitely in need of more staff and more a la carte restaurants to make it anywhere close to 5*. Would not return as I have stayed in far nicer for a similar cost.

    NOT A 5*

    rating28 May 2026

We arrived at Dreams Hotel to a warm welcome, firstly we had asked for step free access room as our daughter is in a wheelchair, unfortunately this was not case. Another room was offered but patio area was on a main path and we preferred the quieter area of the first bungalow. Some staff then put down beach boards to create a ramp for us which was extremely helpful. The first few days we experienced great service from staff, however, this did not continue … The hotel had an sudden influx of guests for half term and it became apparent how understaffed the hotel was, they could not cope in the main restaurant, tables were left uncleared and people could not be seated. One instance a manager (Anna) was more interested in arranging seating for a very large table instead of the people already waiting and when notified twice we were still waiting for the table to cleared she told us to wait and when questioned why she didn’t help stated ‘she is a manager’ I am sorry but if guests are waiting you muck in and help regardless of your rank. A traffic light system poster was then put up around the hotel stating busy times. If I am paying for a 5* hotel I don’t expect to be told times I should not come to the main restaurant. The Greek and Seaside restaurant were impossible to book, you can only book via the app and we even sat up till midnight to try and book and still could not get an available time. When I questioned staff they said it was a glitch with the app but they only have handful of tables in each restaurant and do not fully book them again down to the lack of staff. The food at the hotel is massively below 5* standard more like a 3* the main buffet is far too small for the amount of guests and serves repetitive food, no themed nights or world cuisine its two types of grilled meats, random thrown together sloppy dishes and salads EVERY lunch time and dinner. The bar staff were also over whelmed long queues sometimes up to 20mins just to get a drink by the pool, this was also made worse by the water filter stations breaking and being out of order for days people had to queue just to get water. For the first few days we sat on a cabana by the pool, it was well situated for our daughter’s wheelchair and near the steps of the pool, when the influx of the half term started to arrive we were suddenly informed it would now be 50 euros per day to sit on the cabana’s. This was simply a money making exercise removing more seating at a busier time to make people pay! Very disappointing when we had booked all-inclusive and paid extra for preferred club. I did argue this and explained our situation and the hotel agreed to book out a cabana for my family but I am disappointed I had to go out of my way to complain about this. The preferred lounge is a nice area to avoid the crowds, however, Monica was very unhelpful and rude at times, almost making you feel like a hindrance for asking for assistance. Some good advice DO NOT book this hotel if you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues, there are steep hills up to the main building and pools, the only lift up to the main building is within the Greek Restaurant which is shut all day and some nights. We did complain to the general manager about the poor experience we had overall, he kindly booked us into a restaurant for the evening and sent a bottle of fizz to our room but I am afraid it was too little too late. Ending on a good note the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. A special mention to Lenka was also extremely friendly and helpful at the front desk, remembering our girls names and making a fuss of them each time we saw her.

    Not a 5* hotel

Not a 5* hotel We were disappointed with our stay, on arrival hotel looked lovely and decor in rooms and layout really nice, size was good. Unfortunately from there it went down hill, we could not get into the Al A Carte restaurants, I had to argue with the manager to be able to get into the Greek restaurant but could not get into the seaside restaurant. The buffet on a morning from 9am was manic and on a night from 7pm it was like a zoo. There was very little selection, one of the worst buffet restaurants I have been too. Housekeeping was not great at all, looked like our room had barely been touched each day. Pools were not very clean.Only plus was we were in a preferred club room so we could use the lounge to help ourselves to drinks on an evening and the preferred club pool was a little cleaner and warm. There seemed to be a staff shortage as there was only 1 bar staff on each pool bar and 1 waited so we were waiting a while for drinks. Everything seemed to be to much to ask. Poor experience

Lovely hotel let down by its systems and way its run

    rating28 May 2026

Dreams as a resort, rooms, setting, pools etc is a lovely place. Majorly let down by late check in with little info - with two young children this wasn’t ideal. Restaurant booking system total farce and long queues at bars for soft and alcoholic drinks.
