    Thank you Emilios & Anna!

This was our first time in Corfu having always wanted to visit, and we absolutely fell in love with the place. Emilios and Anna made us so welcome at the apartments, they are the most hardworking couple and an absolute joy to be around. They never stop working and spend so much time with their customers, we had the best laugh and we were so grateful for their advice on where to go and what to try!The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean - we were only really in ours to sleep, shower and get changed so we weren't looking for any fancy add ons. There was still a dressing table, TV, kitchen area, balcony and small bathroom, so we had everything we needed. The restaurant/bar at the apartments serves lovely local food, always hot and fresh, and very reasonably priced too. The bar is open from early and closes late which was ideal for us!There's quite a few friendly cats around but they don't approach you if you leave them be - just for anyone with allergies who is worried. The apartments are a couple of minutes walk from the beach and there are plenty of bars and restaurants up and down with sunbeds and seating - we visited in October when a lot of businesses were closed but we didn't struggle to find somewhere. The walk into the town main street is about 5 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants/tavernas and bars, the local people are incredibly welcoming, and the food is out of this world. There's quite a few tour shops up and down the street so its easy to book an excursion, and there are absolutely loads to choose from.We loved it so much we will be returning this year, and booking this hotel. If what you want is somwhere decent to sleep, fantastic company, incredible food, and within walking distance of the local town - this is the place to book.We can't wait to be back :)

A good experience in Corfu witout the need to hire a car

    rating21 Oct 2025

It was very much like the photo, pleasant family run hotel with pool and good restaurant. The beach is stoney and unfortunately the week before we arrived the holiday makers had the tail end of Hurricane Amy which made thesea choppy, it looked black with lots of churned up water and seaweed. Very good restaurants 5 mins walk if that from hotel, reasonably priced and catered for vegetarians and some vegans. We took trips with a company based in town Acharavi Litourgis travel went to Albanian for 45 euros each by coach and boat long day but worth it. Pick up near our hotel. Then a fab trip to a very sandy beach Paleokastritsa about 40 mins by coach with same local travel agent which cost only 20 euros each and included a trip to a nearby Monastery and a visit to the highest peak for a Belle Vue you could see for miles.

    Pleasant Return.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 21st September to 5th October. Once again, we we were welcomed warmly by Emilios & Anna. Our sea facing room was basic but functional. The housemaids were friendly and attentive. The pool and bar area is the main focal point. Serving good quality food and drinks all day at a reasonable price. The Greek night was always popular and entertaining. We personally always enjoyed Nicos playing on the Accoustic Rock Evenings. All in all, we had a great time meeting up with old friends, and we are already planning our next visit. Thanks to all who looked after us.

    Uncomfortable family holiday at Eriva

    rating20 Sept 2025

We recently stayed at this hotel and, on the surface, it has all the basics you’d expect – clean rooms, decent pool area, and the amenities you need for a holiday. However, our experience was spoiled by the attitude of the management team.We were told there had been a complaint about our 2-year-old and 4-month-old grand children being “too noisy” around the pool. This came as a complete surprise as our grand children were simply playing as toddlers do, and all the other guests we spoke with had no issue whatsoever. In fact, many of them were warm and friendly, especially towards our 26-year-old autistic son who was also travelling with us. Guests engaged with him positively and enjoyed his company – except for the managers, who clearly seemed to have a personal issue with him. What was presented as a “noise complaint” felt more like an excuse to single him out, which was deeply upsetting. Holidays should be a welcoming and inclusive environment, and unfortunately the management here failed to show understanding or compassion. We then made the decision to spend the rest of our holiday by another pool, where we were made to feel much more welcome, only returning to the Eriva pool late in an afternoon. Our son can be quite over friendly and wanting to talk to everyone, but we always made sure everyone was ok with him talking to them. In fact some people even mentioned that he made their holidays and that they missed him when he wasn’t by the pool. On a positive note, we want to highlight the wonderful staff who made a real difference to our stay. The cleaning team kept everything spotless, the receptionist was helpful and friendly, and the pool bar lady, Spirrie, was especially lovely throughout our time here – always welcoming, kind, and a real credit to the hotel. To summarise: the hotel provides the basics, and the day-to-day staff are fantastic, but if you are travelling with young children or someone with additional needs, be aware that you may not feel supported or respected by management.
