Unprofessional and rude owner - avoid at any cost

The owner does not respect guests, yelling at them without reason and creating a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere.This behavior is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for hospitality. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here if they're looking for a pleasant, respectful, and relaxing environment.

Quiet, remote hotel

The hotel is remote...which I'm sure people are aware of before booking it so I am surprised at the low review score because of this. If you want to be in the city centre then you pay those prices. This hotel is tucked out of the way. It is quiet. You can access the beaches, airport, town centre, water parks etc using the public buses. Yes you have to walk to get to a bus stop but for goodness sake, it is less than a mile. We did not need a car!The receptionists, bar staff, breakfast restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The food on an evening was good with hot, home cooked meals rather than reheated stuff.The rooms were small but kept clean. We had a nice balcony which helped dry out swimming stuff on an evening. The beds were comfy and the mini fridge was helpful to have. As we had a room near reception, there was a bit of noise on an evening of people coming in and banging doors but this can't be helped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful break.The older man (manager/owner?) shouting at the bar staff on a frequent basis was very distressing for children to see and hear. Not sure why he couldn't just have a quiet word with them if there was a problem rather than displaying his aggression in front of guests trying to have a lovely holiday experience. We nicknamed him Shouty man because he was doing it every day that we were there.I hope he reads the reviews and sees how many people have noticed and commented on him shouting at the staff. Please stop doing it, it can be scary for children or women to hear.

Charming, family-run hotel with lovely pool and mature gardens

We stayed here in early September since it was a handy location for a family wedding being held at nearby Ktima Valsami. The staff are really wonderful - generous, kind and you feel the truw warmth of Greek hospitality. The rooms are admittedly very basic and simple but with gorgeous views of the pool and garden (make sure you have a pool view as opposed to one at the rear of the hotel). We had a family room with bunk beds (kids aged 5 & 8) and the 8-year-old only just fit in the bed - they’re small mattresses, so beware if you’re kids are over 135cm. Air con worked well, the breakfast was good with omelettes and nice fresh bread, and we ate at the hotel reataurant twice - good food and very good prices. We didn’t hire a car, but I would certainly do that next time, as the location is remote and it’s not a nice walk along the main road, particularly with kids. For the price I think it’s unbeatable and would certainly return here - we really didn’t want to leave!

Superb hotel in an amazing location.Excellent staff who are always on hand and ready to help,whether you need a taxi,hire car or information on places to visit.The rooms are kept clean and are well presented aswell as having good amenities,such as A/C,tv and a hair dryer.We stayed half board so we had a continental style breakfast with freshly made pastries and our evening meal was a choice of authentic home made Greek food served by 2 lovely ladies.Overall,we could not fault this hotel and would recommend it to anybody looking for an oasis of peace and quiet.

This hotel is situated about 12 km from the airport or the center of Kerkira. It is surrounded by nature and quiet. There is a large pool and enough space for your rented car, which is advisable if you want to explore the beauty of the island. My room was quite large and had everything I needed, including a small fridge. Breakfast was wonderful, every day we were offered a freshly made omelet. Some days we chose to have dinner at the pool, which was cooked to our wishes. The people at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay a really memorable one. On top of all this the price of the week was very, very reasonable. All in all I can warmly recommend the Fiori Hotel.
