Facility

In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service.     Lovely welcome by a very friendly receptionist. Free wifi,,air con and safe. Rooms spotlessly clean and in the fridge was a bottle of wine,,,bottle of water and a carton of fruit juice. The rooms were cleaned daily and sheets and fresh towels left on a regular basis. The whole site is well maintained

    This was a really good value for money stay. The reception staff are really nice and the apartment was clean and had everything you needed. The pool area was tidy and the pool warm. The cafe was pretty expensive but the service was good. Gouvia beach is a bit basic but you can jump on the no 7 bus and be in Ipsos in 15 mins and that is nicer. The beds are pretty expensive though. Gouvia town is good for the evening I would recommend Romeo’s restaurant as Costas is a proper character. All in all a good value for money stay

    Very nice place and beautiful setting, a fair bit out of town for restaurants etc, nothing really local so all about 20 minute or more walk

    We arrived at midnight and were taken straight to our apartment and didn’t check in until the following day which was brilliant.All the staff are friendly and although the room is a bit dated it has everything needed.Pool was lovely but they could do with a few more sun beds.Gouvia is 10 min walk and there are loads of bars and restaurants to choose from.

    Wonderful experience from start to finish. Very friendly staff + locals. Special mention goes to the lovely Sophia on reception who gave us lots of suggestions + advice, and put us at ease from the very beginning, even kept in touch via email in the weeks leading up to our stay - Nothing was too much trouble for her. Apartment was very clean + regularly maintained by cleaning staff. Very comfortable beds, and plenty of room for me and my daughters to all have our own space. Pool was large, and pool bar served really nice food and drinks, again with lovely, friendly staff. Govino bay itself is very pretty, but also a great base for jumping on a bus to Corfu town, or the gorgeous beaches in Palaiokastritsa/Dasia, all within 10-30 mins journey for around 2 euros p/p. There are many bars, shops + tavernas all within a 10 min walk so spoilt for choice with food and drink options. My Daughters also loved roaming the bakeries, coffee/souvenir shops close by. Recommend cocktails at the Wild Rose bar, good quality and value for money. Thank you to everyone at Helion apartments for making our holiday such a good experience - hope to visit again soon!
