  Fantastic week at Irene Apartments April 2024

  Just returned from a week at Irene apartments Agios Gordios and considering some of the reviews we read before going,figure we must have gone to the wrong apartments! Our room was roadside,but quiet,albeit out of season.Rooms were clean,bedding and towels changed often. Didn't have many dealings with Irene but she was very pleasant when we did. We spent most of the week by the pool in the company of Greg and Grace who couldn't do enough for us! Food and drink were great and reasonably priced and the location a five minute walk to the beach and other bars and restaurants! Well done guys and hope to see you again soon.

  NIGHTMARE OF A PLACE AVOID.

  The worst place l ever went to in my life. It was a nightmare... we arrived late...but not that late....the place was pitch black with no lighting at all.. the lady who l eventually spoke to asked me why l diddnt use the tourch on my moblie to find our way up 4 flights of stairs to a room we did not book. That was dirty..the lady was shouting at me and also on the phone saying very nasty things about English tourist in Greek...she did not know l spoke Greek at this point l just let her go on and spit it all out. She was so abusive it was disgusting pointing in my face. Telling me lm a bad person etc etc...before we left l answered her good and proper in Greek... hostile is the best way l can describe her...my advice is stay away far away...we went to another hotel and we had a great time..in a clean place with lovely people....and we will go back to the second place again...plus it was half the price.......enter ireene apartments at your own risk...we booked pool side.... l will upload pics if l still have them...you will be amazed at the pool!!

  One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  We booked through loveholidays and unfortunately had some issues with them and airlines as we had a medical incident at the airport and weren’t able to fly that morning. We rang up the apartments later that day because we were able to fly that night and they were amazing. very understanding and helpful due to the situation we were in as we thought that everything would be ruined and canceled. couldn’t have asked for better service from them.we arrived at the hotel around 6AM and were greeted by one of the owners who guided us up to our room. She was very friendly and helpful as well. The cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding and the layout and furniture was great. The beds weren’t the comfiest as the mattress was too hard ( personal preference ) but still had a good sleep every night. The only appliance that could’ve been added was a toaster as we had to fry the bread for breakfast instead which wasn’t the nicest and a plug in fan as the air-conditioning you have to pay for. We were given the apartment with the view of the pool and the whole town - which we were not expecting at all. every morning when we woke up the owners were outside cleaning the pool, floor and sun beds , trimming the bushes, making sure everything was spotless. The cleanliness of everything was 10/10. No faults or dirt what so ever. Pool was average size but very refreshing and clean compared to other hotel pools we’ve been in. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes away which isn’t too long for the incredible clear ocean you get to see and the view of the mountains. There are also a lot of restaurants on the main street and down by the beach. Around the area there are supermarket, souvenir shops, coach bookings, activity bookings and a lot more. Slept with the balcony doors open every night as it felt very safe. However would recommend bringing a lot of mosquito repellent as the bites can be quite bad. Would definitely visit corfu again and stay in irene apartments. everywhere is spotless, staff are super friendly , amazing views , great location and overall one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

  We have just had the loveliest stat at Irene's appointments. It is immaculate and so well kept. The owners could not be kinder and more helpful and went out of there way to do anything we asked for help with. We had the pool to ourselves most days. The hill not too bad when you get used to it. We hired a moped for the week and we found that this was the best way to get about and see the North of the island and get to and from the appartment.

  What an amazing and relaxed place, close to the beach and amenities. Irene is always working, keeping the apartments and surrounding areas clean and tidy, she was so friendly and amazing.The rooms were traditionally Greek and exceptionally clean. Will be back, it's perfect for relaxing and not too commercialised. Absolutely amazing.Thank you Irene, your brilliant
