  Great service and breakfast, but reasonable

  I'm very confident in recommending this hotel with great staff and service.Room was clean, our room was usual size for Japanese but might be a bit small for foreigners.Breakfast was more than we expected, varietized, filled up often, and most importantly delicious.I'd like to emphasize it is totally different from Comfort Inn in US!We will definitely choose this hotel again because it's so reasonable for great service.

  Good business hotel overall

  Comfort Hotel is a good business hotel chain in its bracket. This location was no exception. Room was small as expected but not incredibly tiny. Everything was just about right in the room except the TV. The TV should be hung on the wall across the foot of the bed. Instead, it's located at the desk corner parallel to the head of the bed. That meant the occupants couldn't see the TV leaning against the headboard.Service and WiFi were good as expected. The free breakfast included had a surprising amount of choices though quality was just ok. Still, it was free so no complaints.The hotel is about 3 minutes from JR Kure station, where there are direct connections from the Hiroshima Airport via bus. It's a bit tricky to get to the front door of the hotel since it's located at the other side of the station. There is a couple of large shopping complexes nearby, including a supermarket. Yamato Museum, Maritime Self-Defense Force Archives, and Kure port (ferries to Shikoku) are no more than 5 minutes away on foot.Overall, the hotel offers a quality experience at a good value. Highly recommended.

  Well located right around the corner from the station. Fairly small rooms, but clean and quiet. Contained all the normal amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is adequate.

  If you're looking for a clean small room with all amenities and don't mind tight spaces this hotel may suit you. Stayed 2 nights in 2SGLB during Golden Week. Continental bfast avg. Noisy room next to lift-well hearing both lift and guests waiting for a ride. Would not stay again by choice.

  I stayed at the Kure Comfort Hotel for 5 nights last week. Having previously stayed at both the Hankyu (12 times) and the Clayton Bay (1 time), both of which were fully booked for the duration of my 2014 visit, I fully expected the budget Comfort to be inferior in all respects. How wrong I was!! The only failing was the provision of a flannel (or sponge) in the bathroom, otherwise perfection! I would certainly stay at the Comfort again and recommend it to anybody seeking reasonably priced accommodation, and generous `free` breakfasts, coffee etc, whilst in Kure.
