  Chilled out days in this lovely apartment

  We went to Kavos so my hubby could relive his youth and reminisce of his visit over 30 years ago! We both like lively nightlife so the resort itself had plenty of options, but as we’re now in our mid-50s we also want/need peaceful days! Umbrella Beach was perfect for this. It’s in a lovely location and has a really relaxed vibe which we really enjoyed during the day. The apartment was comfortable and clean, lovely comfy bed and useful kitchen including a much used fridge!We enjoyed the pool area which was quiet in the day and the open views to sea and across over to Greece. The sea is really warm - only spoilt by the seaweed along the shoreline which was just a little nuisance not an issue!We had lunch a few times which comes from a local place next door - tuna baguettes were tasty and soft!Drinks are a good choice for the pool days too.There’s plenty of supermarkets close by and just a couple of mins away from the nightlife. Chara looked after us - a lovely friendly lady.If we came back to Kavos, I’d definitely stay here again as it was relaxing and convenient.

  Perfect place for enjoying the holiday

  The place is very well situated. Due to the fact that Kavos is a party place with british teenagers, we were well isolated in a calm area right next to the see. The rooms are very nice, well equipped, spacious and clean. The swimming pool is just perfect and the seaview is top. The personnel is nice and helpful and the prices are low in comparison with other Corfu accomodations. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and with a rented car we could visit other beaches and areas at decent distances.

  First of all I'd like to point out we chose a wrong town for our south Corfu stay - Kavos is a place for teenagers with wild clubs and parties, so we didn't fit as a family.However we managed to turn it into a nice 4 days stay going out of Kavos to different beaches around (Marathias is the best one) - suppose you have a car.Considering the Umbrella apartments we are pretty satisfied:- Location is excellent - away from those parties and noise, but still close to go for a dinner,- free private parking,- They're right on the beach, but the beach in all Kavos is awful (not hotel's fault),- very nice and extremely clean pool with a reasonable priced bar,- Friendly staff with kind owner Mr. Spiros,- good rooms with AC and small kitchenette, - horrible, almost no existent wifi- very good price (around 60 Euros/night) for 3 people in July,- pet friendly

  Stayed in this hotel last week whilst in the coronavirus pandemic. The room was very clean and perfect for what we paid. Room came with air con, a safe hairdryer iron as well as kitchen appliances and soaps shampoo and conditioner all at no extra cost. The hotel is in a perfect location a couple of minute walk to the strip but also quiet and the hotel is on the beach and has stunning views onto the beach and towards mainland Greece from the room. Sun beds are available for free both around the pool and on the beach. The staff were all lovely and the food and cocktails round the pool bar were all nice and great value for money. We also requested to keep our room an extra day as our transfers were not arriving until 6pm and this was also given to us at no extra cost. Could not have asked for a better hotel and would definitely recommend to everyone.

  Located by the beach. I got a room with a balcony overlooking the beach. Stars at night are beautiful. Sunrise on the sea. You can see it from the balcony. Place is really clean. It´s good money for value. They don´t offer breakfast but there are many places around that do. I believe most of the rooms have a kitchen as well. Walking distance from GreenBus station in Kavos
