Nice location shame about the rest.

    rating16 May 2026

Very clean with lovely staff. Nice quiet location.Breakfast ok. Food was cold most days.I walked through the small selection 45 mins befour lunch and half of the hot food had already been put out on display.???Little ones are not catered for.One fruit item on offer for lunch/dinner.The owner seemed to stand behind people in the que watching which put me off. He was probably being helpful but i dont like someone watching me whilst im filling up my plate. I was Told off for filling my water bottle up from the water machine at an all inclusive hotel!!!!Now for the All Inclusive. Depending on what site u look at depends on what u would expect. Some show pictures of a stocked bar and bar staff. The reality is its been blocked off and u have 4 help your self spirit despensers. 1 beer pump, with a tastless low alcohol content. 5 other pumps for mixers. Coke/ lemonade etc. All cheap and nasty. No opportunitty to buy other DECENT alcohol. Everyone went out which costs more in the long run. Our sheets were only changed once, Room was ok nice view to the sea. Pool was lovley. I would say its a good price to stay here but u would spend alot more going out espically if you had little ones so i would spend alittle more and stay somewhere decent. Makis Koursaris, Owner at Monika Hotel Sidari, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are sorry that your experience did not meet your personal expectations, however we must also clarify the real situation, as several of the statements made in your review are simply inaccurate and do not reflect the actual services provided.First of all, it is contradictory that you openly acknowledge the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful and quiet location, the pool area and the sea view room, while at the same time attempting to describe the overall experience in such an extremely negative manner.Regarding the food:Our restaurant operates with specific preparation and replenishment procedures according to hygiene and hospitality standards.Food was certainly not “finished” 45 minutes before lunch, as claimed. This statement is simply untrue. The variety offered is fully consistent with the hotel category and pricing policy, and is enjoyed daily by many satisfied guests.Regarding the all inclusive package:Everything we provide is clearly described before booking. There is absolutely no “misleading presentation” or hidden information. All facilities, drinks and operating hours are transparently communicated through our partners and booking platforms. We also find your comments about the owner “watching guests” unfair and offensive. Management presence in public areas exists solely to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction — never to make any guest uncomfortable or feel monitored. In addition:The hotel welcomes many families with children every season without issue. The beverages served are certified products from approved suppliers and not the “low quality alcohol” described in your review. There is an obvious difference between a value-for-money all inclusive hotel and a luxury resort charging several times the price. We always respect fair and constructive criticism when it is objective. However, exaggerations and misleading statements do not help future travelers understand the genuine experience we work hard to provide every day.Nevertheless, we thank you for your positive comments regarding our cleanliness, staff and location, and we sincerely wish you all the best in your future travels.

    Can’t complain

    rating16 May 2026

can’t really complain about anything here! rooms were good, nothing fancy just perfect size with storage and fridge! only a 5 minute walk from the main strip which was perfect! staff were lovely although i don’t remember names - lovely lady with dark hair and loads of tattoos was amazing! cleaned everyday with new towels every 3 days which is fine. food was adequate, some days better than others but never bad! would come again.

    Fabulous thank you

    rating11 May 2026

Me and my husband stayed for 7 nights all inclusive in May 2026 and had a marvellous time - thanks for the everything Kostardina, Makis, Joanna, and Amy. There is a fridge and kettle in the room and all rooms have a balcony or terrace I believe. Our room 38 overlooked the river which was a lovely view. The food was excellent, featuring the usual cooked options for breakfast plus bread, yoghurt, cereal etc, and the lunch and evening meal were varied and tasty with several hot options such as chicken, beef stew, fish and chips, as well as salads etc. Dessert was ice-cream and fruit and another option such as chocolate mousse. Delicious moist lemon cake made an appearance every afternoon as well, and you could also have ice-cream which was self service- vanilla, banana, strawberry, chocolate. All inclusive alcohol was available from 11 am until 11 pm. The red and white wine was very nice (and I am quite picky). There was also beer gin vodka brandy and ouzo, soft drinks and tea and coffee. Drinks are self service.Upon arriving you have to pay tourist tax which was about €3 a night. The towels and linen are changed every 3 days, which is more than enough, and a good thing for the environment. Bring your own pool towel as they don't provide pool towels, but you can pick up a lightweight beach towel for about 10 euro from all the souvenir shops on the strip. Also bring mosquito spray. There is a free carpark and free air conditioning, and free WiFi- ask for password at reception. The shower was hot and powerful, and there was free posh shampoo. Check out is 11am but Amy was very kind to let us keep the room for free on the last day as we had an evening flight. One thing to note is make sure your phone network is Greek not Albanian- Cosmote, Vodafone or Nova, as you are near Albania here and if you are using an Albanian network there are high non EU roaming charges. It is best to turn your data roaming off and just use the free wifi. Also it is not advised to drink the tap water in Corfu, but bottled water is cheap, and they provided a couple of bottles of water in the room when we checked in. The location is ideal – overlooking the river which flows into the sea, so you also have sea views. There are lots of fish in the river and sometimes they jump. Some guests had brought telescopic fishing poles with them.It is about 200m to the sea, and a short walk left along the seafront to Sidari beach and the centre of Sidari, which has many shops bars and restaurants. The airport is 1 hour away, it would have been £91 for a private transfer via love holidays, and a taxi is around 70€, so we booked a hire car from the airport- Europcar, for around £160 for a week.We travelled all over the North and Centre of Corfu in our hire car. Corfu city is a must see, it is 1 hour away, near the airport. There is so much to do there, museums, shopping, etc, that we went 3 times. We also walked about 1 hour to 7th heaven bar where you can see a beautiful sunset on the clifftops overlooking the sea. The taxi back cost 12 euro. Also the Canal d'amour area of Sidari is very beautiful with it's rock formations on the beach and has nice beach bars. It was a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. We had sunbathing weather every day, except 1 day it rained. An absolute bargain for the price we paid.

It’s a great place and we will definitely come back!!!

    rating15 Nov 2025

We stayed here with my partner and our 9-year-old son, and we were very satisfied. The hotel is close to the beach, the staff were friendly, and everything was a big plus, especially for such a low price. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended!
